Interesting! I guess I remember a video of yours a while back of a truck show, and, yeah, they were all cabovers and pretty cool too! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you, sir! Thought it would be interesting to see some of those camera angles. I could have done better, maybe next time! Thanks for watching and commenting!
That New Holland has been really great since my dad got it. His old one, not so much lol! Too bad we didn't get more rain or the yields would have been better, but they really weren't too bad. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Looks like nice going there and the dry conditions its been a blessing i have never had trucks a half mile out in a field lol until this year . I have an old international 4070 i been thinking of putting a box on back and pullin a pup with it . I know it would do it since its got a 8v92 TTA cranking out 475 with a 15 speed trans lol
It was really dry in Iowa this year. Yield would have been better with more moisture, but overall not too bad. Yeah, that would make a great straight truck! This Pete could use an 15 or 18 speed, the 10 is kinda hard in the field.
i think the cab over should make a come back with engines sitting so far back almost under the cab on some trucks especially freight liners. i vote for cab over to come back lol
Agree! As long as they can maintain the style of the old ones. I'd bet with todays air suspension both chassis and cab they could be just as comfortable as a conventional cab, but yeah major engine / trans work would be pretty easy!
It is! I could see where it would get old after a while, but it's pretty fun a few times a year! It's a Cummins Big Cam 400. I need to find dad a Jake for it!
@@burningdinosaurs I saw a few of them when I worked at Cummins back in the 80's that were really loud. I had never heard one make that much noise and thought it had a rod knocking in it. Lol. One of the older mechanics had to educate me that this was normal for some of them. Stay safe my friend.
I think the magnet mount exaggerates the sound as well, because it's not that loud standing there, but wish I would have known that, I would have mounted the camera somewhere else that was hopefully quieter.
Never seen a brick more so fast before 🤣
Good to corn harvest is moving along.
Haa!! Yeah, she's one of the faster bricks laying around lol! Thanks for watching and commenting Scruffy!
We only have cab over trucks in the UK. The truck sounds good on the highway. Thanks for sharing and take care

That's a much nicer office than the one you are usually in👍😎
It sure is! If it would pay the bills, I'd do that all day!
@@burningdinosaurs ya.. the bill thing...😪🤬
Looks like that combine was not having any problem getting through that corn.

The corn head does a nice job with the stalks. Is it a New Holland head?
Yeah, that whole combine has really been pretty good for my dad. It's a NH head, but no idea the model. I can find out.
Nice video! Driving trucks is real fun lol. What motor does that truck have in it?

You need a freightliner to go with the pete, I know a guy!
Haa!! Yeah, I bet you do lol!
Is that a Bendix air compressor on that truck?
I honestly don't remember. I can't seem to picture it in my head right now. Are they more known for being noisy?

Looks like Deere country....Wait did I spell that right?
They're are always running away from the combine, I think the New Holland intimidates the Deere (did I spell that right?)
First 👍😎😁
Nice work again!
