this seems to be some new mind trickery monster, i also noticed the new door sound effect aswell as the removal of the door light, with a sort of... smoother camera movement? it might just be used for the trailer so it looks slightly better and more cinematic, and the depth painting which is actually pretty funny and cool to see LSplash mention the silly community
did anyone else notice the candle on the left table at 0:06? but yeah, this update looks really promising, and I hope to see more previews in the future. It's been crazy to watch you guys go from ragdoll mayhem and universe to jump over the brick and vocab havoc, and it's good to see that this is the game that got you guys recognition. I can't wait to see the update, I know this game is in good hands edit: it's also kinda weird how both this and the original game trailer focused on door 13, but I think that's just me looking too closely second edit: after watching the most recent trailer, the candle appears to let the player know when an enemy is approaching

One of the main things I want in this update is the ability to actually read the envelopes in the draws, which would have some sort of cryptic lore or something.

So I think this is obvious, you need to meet Shadow to get the badge. 4. Puzzle Rookie Can’t Say You Could Have Done Better. You need to choose the correct door on that little puzzle in the video. 5. A Sacred Light Don’t worry, I’ll help you! So you want to die to an entity then read the Guiding Light messages. 6. Lone Wolf I Survived, All Alone! So you want to beat DOORS but on your own. You can go into multiplayer and your friends oof too. 7. Moving Out Okay, Okay! I’m Leaving! So when Hide is just about to push you out, you want to go out of the closet last second. 8. After-After-Life That Was Surprisingly Quick! So when you die, revive and then die before your time to revive again runs out. 9. Meet Window I’m A Living Pot Plant! So you want to encounter Window in a room. Pretty obvious 10. Money Burner I Don’t Care, I’m Rich! So just basically buy everything in the shop and you can’t find them. I like all of these except the anti cheat one, since there are people who are completionists who don't want to exploit they won't be able to get that badge

Really excited for the hotel revamp to see how he is and how he works. Many detalls on that so it makes very unique. Also the two doors mecanic (two pathways) is so confusing dude, I don't know which door you go, I image the players and youtubers struggling on that, it would be so funny. The rooms it make this hotel more "looking like" a hotel and not a infinite runner with several obstacles. just thanks LSPLASH for making this game, this new update is be amazing and unique probably.
I think that this will be a good update. The new Hallways, the new furniture of the rooms, lights that suddenly break and that part with rooms 012 and 013 makes many suppositions. But there is a thing that i've noticed and made me say "Now it's perfect." i'm talking of the wooden crates in normal rooms, they make the setting a little more realistic. Good Job!

Some things I've noticed: 0:10 The painting on the wall looks like Depth (aka a concept entity made by fans) 0:11 Lights breaking for no reason 0:18 The 2 different doors, my theory is that this is a monster trying to trick you, and you still need to go through door 12, if you go through 13, you'll die
In the third room, probably you have to traverse through each room separately to find loot in there, and go back to the hall and go to the next room. Just like an actual hotel
Just some thoughts, but I had an idea where maybe sometime in a future update there could be a new entity that would try to kill you if you take to long to exit a room Normal room = 2 minutes Locked room = 6 minutes Boss room = (it won't spawn for obvious reasons) I also had another idea where after you die in the game that for the menu thing that pops up, it would play little xylophone cover of a in game song depending where you died at. Normal room: Guiding Light xylophone Seek chase: You Can't Hide xylophone Room 50: Unhinged xylophone Room 100: Unhinged II xylophone The Rooms: Curious Light xylophone (Super Hard Mode) Jeff Shop: Jeff's Jingle xylophone I also had an idea for when you beat the game and the menu pops up it would play "Guiding Light" but the xylophone version I had in mind earlier and when you enter/exit "The Rooms" that "Curious Light" would play also using the xylophone cover I mentioned earlier.
