You have more Authority over your own body than anybody else, so you should be able to be a First Partaker before Giving it Out. You have a Right to be Free, you don't have to be Bound while helping other Bound People. 6-Get Out of Pity or excuses. Say what the bible says and own up to it. 7-COMMAND THE DEVIL to LEAVE YOUR MIND & BODY. BUT FILL YOURSELF WITH HOLY SPIRIT BECAUSE THEY COME BACK LOOKING TO FILL THAT VOID -MATT. Get rid of whatever is around you that is a trigger-may mean unplugging the tv or sugary food out of your pantry. For example- Ephesians 5:18: And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit.

I used to fight with repenting my sin, feeling condemnation and guilt, repeating, repenting. I didnt understand grace back then, reprnt ur sins is not the Gospel. Repent is, turn to God, we are changed by grace, not by"dont turn back to sin" it was legalistic, since iam saved grace in faith, this things started to lift off me, but repenting was never ending loop failure, even i got suicidal
One thing, repenting our sins is that biblical? We put pur faith to Jesus, we turn to Jesus, that grace start working in us, iam confused about "repent of your sins" many people if u preach that way will scare u away, if u preach that God loves u so much, he send hes son to die for us so we can live, gospela bout cross, it is better, repent is turning to God. If we preach repent ur sins, they get scared and think they are hopeless so how can they be free, that is the danger. If i heard this, it would make me hopeless, as if i was person who never heard gospel of christ. "Repent of ur sins" sounds condemning , what u think?
You sound like Jobs friends. Why did Job suffer? Why was Job sick? Because of sin? Because he believed the Devil? No. Because James 1 says to rejoice in trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything. Suffering, sickness creates bigger faith in the sick. The well don't need faith. They have faith in their health. Just like you have faith in your house keeping you safe while those on the streets have faith in God to keep them safe while they sleep. Which have bigger faith in God?
