In this in-depth walkthrough tour and review, shot at the Miami Boat Show, Jack Haines guides you through the 560 Fly’s brilliant deck spaces, interior and engine room to show you every corner of this exciting new model from Galeon Yachts.
On board, there is a galley aft arrangement in the salon with three cabins on the lower deck, a full-beam owner’s suite amidships, VIP ensuite forward and a spacious twin to starboard, which shares a bathroom with the VIP.
It’s Volvo Penta shaft drive only with twin D11 670hp standard in Europe and the D11 725s standard in the USA, though there will be the option of the D13 800hp motors for a top speed in the region of 32 knots.

The glass on those flip down balconies gets pretty hot in the sun which I discovered to my dismay at the 2022 Miami Boat Show. Was walking barefoot when I stepped on that hot glass. Painful, very painful

Over the top, inside and out. This design group are at the highest level in the industry. The new Galeon 375 has an amazing bowrider seating configuration that I'd love to see on this boat as well.
I love the drop down sides and sliding windows, imagine a princess yacht with these features, the style, fit and finish of an S72 with all this extra space and bringing the inside outside. 👍❤️🇬🇧
My favorites been the Galeon 500Fly, but now that I’ve seen this 560, my mind might have just changed.

Stunning, stunning, you are correct the level of detail is fanastic, I love the big steel fridge, the sinks in the bathrooms are great. You would have very happy crew. I would def buy one of these

Simply brilliant! Princess, Fairline, wake up, your boats are still in the 2010’s for innovation, Galeon are well into the 2020’s.
Best boat they have made, huge changes to the interior in a great way
I like to see them give the option of doing away with a dining table inside and turn it into a big living room tv area. There’s plenty of areas to dine at so it’s a waste of space to have it inside. Worse case scenario with bad weather you just eat off the coffee table in front of the sofa
I’d like to organise my house in the same fashion as a Galeon. Loads of glass, great quality lighting and ideally fold down platforms each side so I can overlook the neighbours.

Great tour, Jack. I really like Galeons and what they manage to make of the space provided. I love the new Starboard internal/external seating and the extended seating on the flybridge is so cleverly done. A really nice boat and I look forward to the sea trial. 👍👍👍

love Galeons. This one has less transforming features but it doesn't need as many space saving tech because of the extra room
You are one of the first. The 500 has some better packaging. Garage, this turning seats and opening portholes in the cabins. That's a pity that Galeon changed some things to the worst. And IPS is missing as an option
Been looking forward to this one as the Galeon 500 (ish) is my ‘ambition’ boat. This looks great, love most of the changes. But I would prefer to have some of the outgoing features as an option e.g. The rotating cockpit seating, garage, sunpads at the front of the flybridge. I also actually like the seati8ng arrangement on the foredeck on the 500 (with tables for your beer ). It does look like a more coherent and mature design. I wonder how it compares in terms of driveability with the 500 as I’m guessing there is lots happening underneath the skin. Thanks for another great review!

Love Galeon. They are a bit industrial feeling but amazingly versatile
AH, I've always wondered about that because they are so (relatively inexpensive), could you expand? Do you mean noise, drivability and feel? E.g. you could buy a Vauxhall with all the gadgets for 40k but a similarly priced Audi is more basic but is just so much better to drive and be in.

Galeon have certainly moved from a high gloss, over accessorised (eg bow seats with the worlds most configuration options:) to a exceptionally well finished, ‘mature’ and functional boat
Perhaps increasing the engine capacity to achieve a 37/38 knot maximum would push her into another market ?

Wow, love the changes to the fore deck so no electrics to go wrong as the boat ages, the interior is just gorgeous but agree that it needs portholes in the windows. What about price, didn't hear you mention that Jack.

Amazing Yacht for just 56ft. But the windows of the owner en-suite are better than the one of the owner cabin itself.

What I like most is that it has fewer dodads than the others. There is simply a lot less to go wrong. I am noticing that no one is mentioning the stabilization on these.
I think a seakeeper is on the options list. But TBH I'm not so worried about the dodas because most of them are just switches and hydraulics, which are fairly belt and braces simple hydraulic systems (famous last words) ;-)
More glass then the Empire State Building! That a peace of British humour at its best.

How do people use the escape hatch without a ladder, especially the older ones.
why didn't they place the thrusters closer to the pilot door so you could be out the door and use the thrusters to dock with your left hand?

Very nice. It must go very well with the 900hp engines, and an extra 350hp overall, 35+ knots I am guessing.
Probably more like 33 with the big ones.
@@Yachtbuyer There is one for sale for around E1.1m ex-VAT, that seems like a bargain, especially given how sorted the boat seems, does not even seem like a real step down from a Princess now TBH.

Toured a galleon at our big boat show and found the quality ,fit and finish terrible. Looked nice but very poorly made in my opinion.
