The music was so haunting and I didn’t even understand it yet but I knew I loved it enough to risk an a*s beating from my older brother. We both purchased multiple copies over the years and I remembering listening thru my teens and again in my late twenties only to understand the music in a way I never have (with my frontal lobe all developed n sh*t) now I love them even more. Only a few bands have withstood that test of time. They are so highly underrated as a band it’s a crime but talking about real sh*t never wins many friends so… I’m just glad they’re still here making art
I hadn't seen the movie Metropolis when I first watched this video so i missed the homage.Thats a neat reference. They even added the little dance into it. I love it and I love this band. Also you can tell which 90s kids watch Fox News by how they are offended by the lyrics of the song.

This stuff is whack. When a band changes their basic sound, they are playing with fire. This is totally different from what they are known for, and it isn't what is popular now. It shows with the relatively small sales. 90's acts are following the 80's acts into being ancient history. Seriously now, I was a teen in the 80's and in my 20's in the 90's, thus I liked both eras of music, but they fell out of favor with the need of the music industry to keep thing fresh. It sucks, but that is how it is. This isn't the Garbage I know.
Finally got my vinyl, deluxe and regular. CD. Gotta get it memorized before I go!!! Being in the hospital I have to listen to Ion RUclips. I fully believe in supporting my artists. Even attending their shows whenever possible. In all that I have done as provide all I can to my artists, I see no problem listening to the album on RUclips. Like when I am here in the hospital. My guess is the association of Fritz Lang with occultism and the omen of Babylon the great wh0r3 coming as a sign of the end of times (it's believed to be a metaphor of women outside of the judeo-christian norm). Most of the people that talk of a specific proof of occultism or a warning for the future apocalypse are often of conservative bias and not really anything in Lang's biography can pinpoint him as some sort of warlock, magician or believer of the occult with an agenda. He was actually censored by both hollywood and the nazis and the nazi censored cut was the one that originated all of the versions we know by now.

Oh that’s right. That was album release day. I remember when Newbury comics in Boston would stay open till 1 AM on Mondays and start selling certain albums at 12:01 AM because they were so popular. Some people would stand in line for hours for certain releases back in the day. I would probably be there for her Garbage Album but I have gone all digital to reduce clutter. I do miss the booklets however
I first got into Garbage when I saw the video for Special on MTV when it was in the UK charts. I have loved them ever since and am so glad that they have got some new tracks out, and can't wait until the new album is released!

Oh that’s right. That was album release day. I remember when Newbury comics in Boston would stay open till 1 AM on Mondays and start selling certain albums at 12:01 AM because they were so popular. Some people would stand in line for hours for certain releases back in the day. I would probably be there for her Garbage Album but I have gone all digital to reduce clutter. I do miss the booklets however
