I love the Pop up headlights ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They are def cool!
My NSX has been a dream to own for the last 3 years. No issues whatsoever. Just a beautiful, solid, well engineered piece of machinery. Part availability has started to become an issue, so I have spent a small fortune stock piling whatever I can get my hands on, either for resale later on, or for use if something ever fails.
Thanks so much for sharing my friend!
I never owned one, but a friend bought one new one when they came out, it was expensive north of 60k. It was nothing short of magnificent in every way, great memory. Thanks, Kevin.
That must have been pretty sweet to own this car when it was new very happy for your friend. Yea it was def expensive even back then, Vettes and Vipers were literally half the money so you really had to appreciate this for what it was.
I was standing next to him after looking at it, no test driving allowed, and when he looked over at me and said , and back to the saleman and said I'll take it, I remember it being what I paid for my house. He is gone now, but I appreciate the memory you brought out, you are the best.
Oh sorry to hear he is not with us. Yea homes genuinely could have been had for well under $100k. Thanks always for sharing with us your great experiences as well!
My first house, albeit modest, was 27k, and I was shaking like a leaf when I signed those papers circa 1983.
@@jeffamburgey7485 wow! Now that’s definitely not happening in today’s housing market
I just bought one (a 94 manual) last week and this was a very helpful comprehensive review of the NSX. Thank you.
Massive congrats my friend, how do you like the NSX?
a good looking and very expensive sports car with a cute engine and with low HP and torque numbers, thanks Kevin
Yep there’s a reason why nobody buys this stuff when they’re new. Vettes and Vipers were half the price of this when new. RX-7 & Supras we’re just sitting in the showroom floor like a diecast toy. Lot of idolatry and worshipping but not enough people contributing to new car sales and they wonder why companies don’t make cool cars 🤦♂️
@@MeynMotorGroup yes thats right Kevin 👍
that dohc v6 is pretty cool. only true vtec v6 that i know of
The first gen NSX will always be my favorite. I still remember the first time I layed eyes on one in the showroom. It was truly automobile love at first sight. I still remember buying every magazine at the time that featured this truly game changing exotic car, and all the accolades it received. Back then, Honda/Acura and Mazda realized the handling benefits of a lighter mass vehicle. The 2nd gen NSX strayed drastically from that formula, but I will argue, even the 2nd gen NSX was truly a car engineered before it's time. Outstanding tribute of a truly special car, thanks Kevin.
Definitely a game changing vehicle my friend! Loved the vibrant colors this car debuted in. Once again I really appreciate your love and support!
Thanx for another classic bro 🤝😎
And thank you my friend for dropping in and sharing your thoughts!
@@MeynMotorGroup No problem bro 🤝😎
Love/Loved the NSX. What a great design, what a Great Car.
Design was excellent great engineering too
Timeless beauty that looks better than anything built today short of something out of Maranello. A pure analog man-machine driving experience that can't be found in todays computer nannied supercars. Build quality and reliability you could only get in a hand built Honda. Rare enough that seeing an unmolested original in the wild is a special treat. Hands-down one of the best things ever to come out of Japan.
Very cool car for the horsepower and looks for it’s time bro 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
I agree bro def a cool car for the time
@@MeynMotorGroup Now that’s facts bro 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
Did you notice how on the left hand drive car the handbrake lever is on the right side of the gear stick? That's because that's the correct layout for a right hand drive car, as they were retro fitted as left hand drive from right hand drive. Not sure if that changed over the life of the car but all the cars in the video show it that way.
That’s a great observation my friend yea most of interior shots are from an early 1990/1991 car
I brought my first car at 19 (2003) … I wish I would had chose this but then again, I would had modified the hell out of it and ruined it, had I been mature I would had got one of these and kept it bone stock and would be enjoying it today. A absolutely lovely vehicle.
This would have been a sweet first car!
What happened to your starting from zero video? I've been listening to it for motivation lmao 😂. I'm not sure if you remember I was the one with the pinned comment. Just got an apartment for $600 a month and I'm getting some overtime on the job so it's okay so far. Thanks for the inspiration
Nice! Congrats
@@MeynMotorGroup thank you so much Kevin I can assure you I will be watching exhaust sports auto from my new place when I have time lol
@Aniki1111
You should, always good quality content and information. Enjoy your new place.
Really appreciate both of you and your support over the years, thank you!
Yo bro good afternoon 🤝😎
Yes sir thanks again for dropping in would love to get your thoughts on this NSX
@@MeynMotorGroup No problem bro and cool I got u 🤝👍🏾👍🏾
I always wanted this vehicle! I wouldn't mind owning it now but I am scared of not getting parts plus the prices are too much for me. 😮
Yea that’s the problem today, crazy high prices and questionable parts availability. I bet it’s epic to drive I’m sure
Wish you mentioned Acura stiffening the chassis 50% after Senna's critique of it being 'soft' during development in 1989.
I personally own an 8th gen Civic Si Fg2 Coupe.
Consider it a poor man's FWD NSX/S2000
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
VTEC
That’s correct!
You forgot the YO! 😂

Why Japanese sport cars start out with a reasonable/affordable price then get out of reach/expensive for most people?
Because nobody buys them so they need to incrementally increase the price to make up for low demand
@@MeynMotorGroup Nissan GTR has always been in demand but now it’s just too expensive? Started around $60s now it’s over $120k
Can I ask you, what is your definition of demand please?
@@MeynMotorGroup hard to answer it but let me try .. if a car-dealership is not discounting a vehicle or don’t have more than 1-2 in stock for weeks/months than the car is in high demand plus it is in very short supply .. factory won’t build more GTR’s and dealers won’t sell it at MSRP so price keeps going up .. can’t buy one for MSRP and dealers are happy to mark it up over $10k-$50k and sit on them until someone pays for it. ( US market)
It’s very simple my friend: it’s the sales figures.
From 2008 to 2021, a GTR sold 13,000 units.
This NSX sold 9000 units from 91-05.
A Porsche 911 sells 10,000 units every year.
They need to milk as much profit out of the small niche Japanese sports car buying market since these cars have absolutely no prestige or societal value.
There is a small determined group that fails to educate themselves about warranties and leasing that contribute to the small sales figures of these cars.
They tried to price them cheap at first to see if they can get high sales volume but the demand is never there.
