1 Thessalonians

A study of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 based on "Explore the Bible: Spring 2022" from Lifeway. Week Six of seven-week lesson in the book of 1 Thessalonians prepared by Gary Stieber for Houston's First Baptist Church.
The coming of Jesus is known as the greatest story ever told. Part of the greatest story ever told is the promise of his return to come and get his holy people.
The promised return of Christ gives hope. It gives hope in our grieving the death of another believer. Jesus will return in His full glory to gather all the believers throughout all time for eternity. The certainty of that promise should give us encouragement of our position in Christ, and it should also motivate us to share our faith with great urgency.
We’re also going to see a small part of what that looks like for the unbelievers.
