  • A study of 1 Thessalonians 3:1-13 based on "Explore the Bible: Spring 2022" from Lifeway. Week four of seven-week lesson in the book of 1 Thessalonians prepared by Gary Stieber for Houston's First Baptist Church.
One thing that is clear about Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians is that he is concerned about them because he didn’t have the opportunity to disciple them in the way or for as long as he would have liked. And given the way that the anger of the Jews boiled over when he was there, he was rightly concerned that the jealousy that was directed at him would become directed at the church he created.
In this letter we see both Paul and the Thessalonians encouraged.
