They chose that countertop recently. :-( What a gorgeous house, apart from the kitchen and bathrooms. The grounds! Lovely gardens and windows that look out on them. I wonder how many acres it's on -- looks spacious!
@@jonothandoeser I was born in southern California. That is an older home with little heat. People really believe the hype about California having nice sunny beautiful weather. It gets cold in California, especially at night, and depending on certain times of the year like fall and winter, or spring. The summers are great, but any other time....you have to wear long sleeves early in the day, late in the evening....and even gloves. I have even seen it snow, that's how cold it gets. Its a rariety but it happens. The bridges will have black ice on them...everything. People just don't talk about it.
@@littleclay1838 Naw, it doesn't get truly *cold* in Southern California. You can count on with five fingers the times when the night time temperatures dip into the 30°s. What Southern Californias think of as cold is 45° in the evening. You can defeat that with a sweater or space heater. Besides most of those Craftsmen homes hav generous fireplaces. And your body adjusts to cold tolerances in a number of ways.
@@jonothandoeser I suppose. Yes, it a rariety for snow, and things. But trust and believe....there are millions of ppl in Southern California with hats, gloves, sweaters, coats....lol. Anyone purchasing a home for that amount should already have decent heating for those times. Because most of the older homes in California have those huge heating vent that sits in the center of the house in the hallway floor...about 3' x 3' to heat the whole house. I use to stand on it...to get warm. Its an experience you would have to experience. But no one enjoys being cold in a million dollar house, with no heat in the bedrooms.
@@littleclay1838 Actually a lot of Craftsmen homes have floor vent heating. There are companies who are sell the replacement vent covers for them. ventcoversunlimited.com/craftsman-aluminum-vent-covers/
