    That red drink you had is called sobolo in Ghana. It is made from wild hibiscus and we drink that in Jamaica also but we call it sorrel. Mexicans also make it and they call it Jamaica. It has a very refreshing taste almost like cranberry juice als like rosehip tea.

    The food looks great.
    That's a lot of walking. Question: Is that place a tourist town or a coastal village? Is the lack of tarred road deliberate for environmental reasons or is it just good old corruption & lack of vision?

      Great questions. It's my understanding that it is just a coastal village. I saw a few Europeans but I doubt it is marketed for tourism at all. It just seems like a halfway point between the airport and the city on the coast

      Maybe 5'10...they are a bit taller than Americans on average but most I saw aren't over 6 ft. Of course it could vary by region

    Beautiful country and beautiful women but the majority only speak french and local languages. So if you speak English it will be difficult. Senegal is also very expensive to live in .
