SethTheProgrammer debates Instagram Debater / Power Scaler Rose.memes in a heavily requested matchup. Debates include Broly VS Darkseid, Dabura VS Super Perfect Cell, and Sasuke (Danzo) VS Pain.

I miss these debates so much
Seth just highlighted the comic community’s main issue. Using 10936383 different writers in debates. Any debate I ever enter with a comic reader they start off giving me feats from a composite comic character. They’ll say oh he did this then I’ll reply with a greater feat in my side of the debate and they’ll retract their last statement and make a new one giving me a completely new and more powerful feat. But as soon as i mention composite anyone else I’m wrong and I lose because I’m not using cannon or I’m not using one version of a character because I’m not staying consistent but they get a free pass as annoying as it is I’m glad in high level debates (which I don’t take part in) you acknowledge it and halt it
that's why comic scaling isn't as popular as anime scaling. everyone scales comic characters in comp and never stick to one writer
The issue with that is there are certain Characters that *ARE* Composite to their verse. people like superman, and *somewhat* Green lantern. especially Darkseid as there are no arguments of Darkseid not being able to use all his avatars in one battle.

@@RandomComicEnjoyer comp scaling still sucks to do tho and is not enjoyable to debate or watch people debate. anime scaling is and probably already will be more popular because of its mainstream appeal and that's not something you can really deny yk? like it's common knowledge that anime/anime scaling has become disgustingly popular in comparison to comics over the last few years
@@bloutman760 i completely dont agree with that, but to be frank this isnt really a factual conversation. more of a subjective, especially in my experiences in seeing Series scaling. i rather call it a stalemate as both communities scale the same subject anyway.

@@invictus6176 I have my own opinion. It's just that their are loads of dickriders who agree with everything seth says and use him as evidence that Dragon ball beats whatever, which is why I point out that even he thinks DC is stronger than Dragon Ball.
@@sptflcrw8583 Theres no contestion that Dc or Marvel has stronger characters when Dbs is only just entering 4D realms in power speed durability etc even including the stuff like DBX or DBH would only scale them to the High ends of Dc or Marvel but using Seth as the entire arguement doesn't look like you *Do* have an opinion for yourself lol either way Darkseid avatars are mad inconsistent and depend on certain Versions for example one Darkseid Avatar only had 1/5 the power to destroy the universe and DB characters have been Galaxy + levels since end of Buu Saga.

Dark side is the concept of tyranny and while I do like broly there's no way broly can really kill Darkseid because you can't get rid of a concept any more than you can get rid of a letter or a number you may erase it from every corner of existence but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist simply erasing the number two from a piece of paper doesn't mean the number two doesn't exist.
Seth stated in the original video description that he'd never argue broly vs dark side vs someone competent.

Why do swag and Seth always bring up itachi sneak attacking nagato twice while mind you not only did he almighty push Amaterasu off which in both as nagato and pain would’ve been fine because he’s an uzumaki which are stated to all naturally be physically powerful on top of needing a powerful body to handle a rinnegan as shown by obito and stated multiple times so he’d be fine w some injuries or as a puppet can keep fighting so long as he has rods. Totsuka blade is too slow. And I don’t see itachi one shotting chibaku tensei without 2 of the most powerful jinchuriki helping him. Nagato while was getting sneak attacked by itachi was stomping kcm naruto and bee so stop trying my boy nagato lol
Edo itachi is so fast that nagato didnt even try shinra tensei or anything . In a real fight where itachi is trying the outcome will be the same.

That argument isnt used to downplay nagato ever , it is used to say how op itachi is . Everyone acknowledges that nagato destroying fatigued kcm naruto and bee is cool , but edo itachi is just stronger and show above early ems sasuke and early kcm naruto . Nagato has a rinnegan which is way above a sharingan in terms of reaction and to stop people from sneaking on u . U cannot use that argument unless nagato was so fatigued that he cannot use the rinnegan . He should be able to react to itachi is he was faster or stronger , itachi literally came from the front .
Goku didn't say Dabura was stronger than Cell though. he says they're about the same. i'm so confused lol
ur right in the manga he says dabura probably has the same amount of strength and then he says hes strong he would have been a problem a while ago. Then in the next panel he says dabura is stronger than he thought meaning he would be above super perfect cell which goku did know the strength of so dabura>= super perfect cell more so leaning to above
@@joshsilver2082 one problem tho is that Goku never actually fought Super Perfect Cell. and it's shown during the Saiyan Saga that you can't see through King Kai which also probably applies to ki sensing. so its actually pretty unlikely Goku knew how strong Super Perfect Cell was. normally i would argue this means SP Cell is stronger, but then your example is a good point too, so it's a real toss-up imo
@@cornboi3227 he does have really good power sensing abilities, and he was with gohan during cell's final kamehameha clash, so it's possible he was scaling dabura off that. it is heavy implications that dabura is as strong if not, stronger than cell. just that in an actual debate, you can argue that cell's regen would let him zenkai once more and dabura just loses.
@@nekoluxuria7721 I'm pretty sure the bit with Goku being next to Gohan there isn't meant to be literal, since we can clearly see him still in Other World, and he never indicates that he leaves or something (like in Bojack which was much more deliberate and obvious). it's more so Goku talking to Gohan through King Kai and Gohan imagining him being there with him for self-motivation, as well as just love for his dad.
i do agree though that he might have been able to sense SP Cell's power level. i just got to the Moro arc in the manga and there's a clear scene where Goku sense's someone's energy from really far away so he can Instant Transmission, but then describes what their ki is like. before this, i thought ki sensing and what Goku does for Instant Transmission were separate, but it seems like it might not be

Tbh Pain Slams because of a couple of reasons 1. Sasuke's base durability sucks 2. If Shinra Tensei is in use the only thing Sasuke can use to defend is the susanoo 3. Pain could easily stall as seen when he took some time to learn how jiraiya fights
