WOW Global Discussion: Taking Stock of our Shared Water Future

The 90-minute brainstorming session by World of Water (WOW) members was a vibrant discussion on enhancing global water stewardship through community involvement and innovative solutions.
Key topics included the progress of digital and nature-based initiatives, the pivotal role of younger generations, and the necessity for organizational collaboration. The urgency of addressing water scarcity and flooding in India was also highlighted, emphasizing the need for immediate action.
Participants stressed the importance of autonomy and agency for young professionals in the water sector, and the benefits of attending conferences and networking events to share knowledge and experiences. The meeting fostered a strong sense of community and shared purpose, with attendees expressing their commitment to making a positive impact on water conservation efforts.
Mary Conley Eggert emphasized the opportunity to build on the past four years of work, showcasing the impact of the World of Water Action Forum. She also invited all to share their roles and expectations to support the impact of future WOW Global Initiatives.
