For over 20 years, ShopSabre CNC has provided businesses and hobbyists with the best CNC machines at the best value. By focusing on unbeatable customer service and high-quality products built in the USA, we’ve grown from a single machine built at home to one of the most trusted CNC machine manufacturers in the country.
Very cool. Ironically I’m designing a record player drawer just like this, which I’ll be cutting soon with my ShopSabre.
Sounds like a great project!
How did you mount the spindle mount to side of cnc? Did you have to drill it there yourself or was that an option when purchasing. Also can you share plans on that built in router bit organizer you have there at the back of the Cnc behind the ATC
We are the CNC manufacturer - ShopSabre.com
looks great :) which material did you use ?
Rift White Oak
Are these the 1/4'' double bead tambour? Thanks!
They can be many difference style - just depends what bit you select -- Vortex Tool is a great resource for sourcing the bit of your choice.
How are you holding those small parts down on the spoil board without them sliding around?
Becker Vacuum pump with our HiFlow vac technology
@@shopsabre I have the Hurricane. It won't hold down my parts any near what you show in that video.
@garyh5181 yes, the hurricane is very under powered for such attempt.
I’m doing this in mozaik already… Have y’all had grain chipping issues?
We did not have any chipping issues on this project
@@shopsabre what’s the pass depth on those?
@@jweeks1995I will try to gather that information for you but if you have a ShopSabre the full lesson will soon be available for SabreNation University which goes through the tool path. In the meantime, tech support is available to go through technical questions as well.
These are 1/4" beads so roughly 1/8" depth
What RPM do you run the radius bit at?
tooling feeds and speeds are variable based on chip load rating for the tool itself. The Tool manufacturer should be able to supply you with that.
Do you mind sharing the part numbers for the bits used?
You can purchase them through our parts department by call 952-461-4570 M-F 8am to 5pm cst
Won't they warp?
No, typically if done correctly with the right materials it should not be an issue.
@@shopsabre You would think otherwise from the feedback I get from door manufacturers telling us how difficult these are, hence so expensive.
@@Curious_Skeptic well difficulty level is all dependent on the process, tools, equipment, staffing, software, etc. I cannot speak for their business model
These warped. Ask me how i know😂
@djhighgloss the ones we made for this video are still flat here in the shop.
