I'm actually very glad Danny went on with We Are Harlot because his voice is now more developed with them than it ever was in AA. He improved his range, consistency and definitely tone of his voice, he is doing something he really likes, playing rnr. At least AA can continue with a singer who is more in their zone.
Well he used to be pretty terrible with AA on stage and did not take care of himself very well, but as I can hear from Harlot's acoustic stuff he is in control of his voice more than ever so I think he is more careful now and is probably taking some singing lessons, so it's fantastic.
I love his melody choices on the live versions XD he plays with his voice so much, its kinda awesome. Its kind of a shame he can't really pull off all the old songs live tho.

I'm excited that they are separating because it is obvious that the band and the singer want two different things. The "metalcore" sound of the band clashes with the Rock N Roll style of Danny's voice now. It's a good move on both parts! I hope they both enjoy their paths!
In my opinion this is one of Danny's best ever live performances. I love his creativity and the flexibilty of his voice, absolutely amazing! The power of his screams here is the best its ever been as well!! Such a pity to see him go :( this is definitely where he belongs (im kiding this is disgustingly bad)

danny just does this he likes to do those weird kind of singing he did in brussels to but at some point he just sings perfect and your hair on your arms goes up. really strange but it was one of the best shows i saw this year i thought and i am kind of a critic live so .. and there guitar playing was just perfect and it was all live because at some point a guitar broke down so.. you love them or not but he still can sing if he wants to ;)
It's obvious from the very beginning that Danny couldn't do the growls or go anywhere near the low, deep notes. His voice was cracked even when he was talking and I wonder how he managed to finish the whole gig at all. They did change (soften) the set list for the show, so that he could fight his way through it and it looks to me that he gave his best, ALL things considered. I don't know man, I'm a musician and I've loved that shit since I was born, I think. And I really don't mind this kind of stuff, I actually enjoy it - it's like a proof of flesh & blood. They get tired, they get jet-legged, they get homesick, they get sick, they get wasted, they get triggered, they get depressed, they get constipated, they get dumped, they get everything we get but they still get to entertain us in the evening, no matter what happened during the day! Gotta respect that, dude... Yeah, they do get paid, but after the show you and I get to go home and they go in the bus with 15 more hairy-assed, smelly-feeted, sweaty-armpited dudes (my auto-correct is going berserk right now :-P)! So I think we should cut 'em some slack ( or smack)... \m/
Such a shame that Danny chose to leave Asking, but I wish him all the best at Harlot and look forward to seeing the new stuff from both Harlot and AA. Good luck to everyone, AA family ♡

Danny had fucking great vocals from the start to the end, just because how his vocals turned in the end didn't go with the style they were trying to get didn't mean that he was a bad Vocalist. Danny was and still is fucking great. Just because he quit AA does not make him shit. No one ever said anything until he fucking left. Then all of a sudden everyone jumps on him for being selfish bc he "left" his band just like that. Did Dennis not do the same with his old band? Yes. He did. Danny lost his passion for the music they were going for, the guys music taste and style matured, so obviously he didn't want to keep making Metalcore like the rest of them. He wanted to focus on something he enjoyed and made him happy, and AA wasn't that for him. You make it sound like he should have just sat there producing the music he didn't want and be unhappy and not passionate with the band. You wouldn't continue to do something for the rest of your career if you was unhappy doing it? So why should he? He's just a guy like me and you, and everyone else. And don't get me wrong I like Dennis, but I prefer danny.
