- The Nintendo Wii is one of the greatest and best selling consoles ever, and for me a wrestling fan, the main reason I ever wanted one was was the fact that they had Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on the console. Not just a port, but a special game that used motion controls. It was an experience that everyone assumed would be amazing. Imagine doing a taunt in real life and the wrestler did it in the game. Imagine choosing what move you wanted to do with your motion and not a button. Sounds amazing right? but was it? Lets find out because prior to this video I had never played it. Lets go back to 2007 and play Smackdown vs Raw 2008 but on the Nintendo Wii

I remember 09 on the Wii improved it a lot. Entrances had interactivity, you could rip up crowd signs, RTWM, good match types- shit was awesome.
My first game was 2010 on the Wii, and it’s like every other console’s version 🔥

SVR 09 on the Wii was absolute fire. Interactive Entrances, more game modes, road to wrestlemania, better controls, more weapons and the list just goes on from there.

This was my first ever wrestling game. I owe so much to this game. My step sisters boyfriend got me into wrestling but this got me hooked
You had a much more positive experience than I did with this game lol My parents surprised me on Christmas with the WII and this game. I was excited, but then I fought MVP in like a 1,000 KO Matches in Career mode. Safe to say my excitement died pretty quickly 😂

I would go to my friends house and play SVR 07 on the PS2, I was so gassed to get 08 on the Wii, definitely was let down by the lack of modes but I forgot how responsive the gameplay was until Pav brought it up, so much nostalgia. I never wanted to put it down until 09 came out. Another sweet Wii release, after that I finally bought an Xbox 360 for the anticipation of 2010.

Me and my big brother saw the trailer when we were watching Friday Night Smackdown and saw you can play it on the WII. We begged our mom to go get it for us. This was my first ever wrestling game I owned and for Christmas my Parents had asked us what we wanted and we were young and dumb and I was 8 so we got the wii for Christmas 2007 and got this game . At the time I was so into wrestling so much and the undertaker was my favorite wrestler and I used to watch only smack down because we didn’t have cable and smack down would air every Friday on cw mannnn you really brought back memories for me , when I played it I remember how limited it was in what you could do but I remember the next Christmas I got SVR2009 and it was way better and had more match types
Just played SVR 08 on my Wii for like 2 and a half hours. I had a blast, it was fun and damn the music especially Puddle Of Mudd "Famous" brought back alot of memories
