These games mean so much to me. They sparked my interest in France and since I played it the first time I have become fluent in basic french. After initially playing it I couldn't stop thinking about it for 2 Weeks. These games are what reignited my love for video games after months of not playing any. Requiem is my Game of the Year.

I completely agree with you! This game means so much to me, it made me feel grateful for having my older sister and brother in my life and really got me thinking about how much i care for them. It's my game of the year too - Amicia and Hugo will always stay in my heart.

I was expecting the worst with all the foreshadowing they do in this game and yet the final act still wrecked me in a way I wasn't expecting. I feel like this game accomplished what Last of Us 2 just did not in regards to having you as a player make a decisions or act in moments you wish you could not. Because it actually resonated here and fit with the over arcing themes in this 2 part series. I didn't want to do it, I tried walking around and anything to not do it, but I did it. And it sticks with you. The act and their journey to that decision. All the pain and suffering the characters you love cause and we excuse it because their the protagonists. We care about them. They just did empathy so well in this deeply tragic story.

I totally agree with everything you wrote. In my eyes, the arcs and themes in both games were just so impactful, and really made me think about my own life - Same with "The Last Of Us" games!

This game deserved 3 different choose endings: Sacrifice Hugo to save the world, sacrifice Amicia instead of Hugo or sacrifice (and betray) Lucas and save both Hugo and Amicia but feeling guilty after it 😢😢
