I know some of you don't read descriptions so I'll write it again here: This montage narrates about Amicia's journey through anger, regret and ultimate failure in what she thought she could have done; however as Hugo states in the final moments, she was wrong since the beginning. We have an Amicia who is still mentally scarred from what happened in Guyenne, against the Inquisition, she refuses to belive what her mother and Magister Vaudin say, she simply can't accept the fact that the Macula inside Hugo's blood is still spreading and will soon reach it's final threshold condemning Hugo in the process. We have an Amicia that keeps on going, keeps on killing even when her closest friends tell her to stop, even when her body tells her to. This ultimately leads to what she so vividly wanted to avoid, Hugo seeing her almost die and triggering the Macula's last threshold, the Sun-killer. Now Amicia has no choice, with the light of the sun obscured, the rats will soon engulf the entire world, she now has to kill the very thing she sought to protect. But as the last human part of Hugo explains to her at the very end, by doing so, she will also kill her old self, ironically the very thing keeping her stuck in the past and unable to move forward was Hugo himself, therefore Amicia can finally gift "Requiem" to her brother and to the part of herself that was keeping her anchored to the past, but before throwing that final stone she thinks about all the people (and the Macula represented by the red phoenix) who, for better or worse, helped her and her brother during this last journey.
This is my favorite take on requiem, thank you. Losing Hugo ultimately doesn’t make the journey pointless, but rather, shows that while fighting for what’s best is commendable, sometimes it results in us learning the hard way. “Perhaps it’s time to let go of your old self”, is something a lot of us can think about
This Edit is incredible. Shows you the broken Amicia with the hopefull Amicia mixed up with other’s characters dialogues and predictions. Just wonderful.
The edit here was so clean, I am so glad that this popped up on my feed. I have been obsessed with Amicia for awhile now, she's definitely my favourite female protagonist of this year. The reverse edit and juxtaposed pitch contrast of Amicia's line "There will be people who do terrible things" to alt into the deep " but" and back into her the rest of her line. It was so small, but so dope
From the beginning I thought we'd find a cure for little Hugo from the first part to the last breath I thought this story would have a happy ending, but unfortunately it wasn't like that.The end of the story of little Hugo has destroyed me so much that i can't get out of my head his kind voice and I can't play another game for a while.This great game I would recommend to anyone.Great story, characters, voices, music and great graphics.This game deeply touched me and will always have a special place in my heart...

Amicia's character was so powerful that when I heard her voice actress playing Jill in FF16, I was massively disappointed in what a downgrade from Amicia it was😅

I mean the sound from game, their dialogues? I downloaded videos of playthrough from youtube, but the background music from the game is just so loud. May I ask where did you get your resourse?
