  • Hey you guys so i came up with this creative way to sew dow your full lace wig it really helps me to create a very natural look . while still being able to save my hair from the damage of glue. i hope you guys enjoy and find this useful.
    Materials
    Banna Clip
    Scissors
    Tooth brush
    Brush
    Sewing thread/Sewing Needle
    Weaving Thread /Weaving Needle

    I find sewing the unit on to be so much easier to maintain..i normally keep mine sewn in for 2 weeks i wash and deep condition oil my scalp and re install it is so much easier to keep my scalp healthy and more secure

    Does it start to slide up like when you wear a frontal? Also does this damange your hair underneath at all. I just had bundles sewed in and it damaged my (natural) hair a bit

    I do this but I sew around my head ..except the very front. I have to work on not sticking to tight because I put small holes in lace

    Do you add any stitches to the e back of the wig or the nape area?
    If this keeps the wig down and flat for hair updos???????

    when you cut the side of the ear piece can you still glue yours down if you wanted to because mines was cut to much by the ear by a beautyshop but now i cant get it to stay any suggestion ?

      Dolokaa its easy to find the thread, I have done this a few times now. when u kn9w the general area you stitch ended...u can feel the difference between the hair and the thread, the thread is harder. that how I find it.

      Mvp Fanart if you’re one of those people who have to wash their hair everyday instead of when it’s needed you should probably just try the glue method
      Most people that sew it down can go a few days without washing their hair until it is needed

      Terry Duani most people leave sew ins for 1-3 months. usually i can only last 1.5 months

      Google User how long does one wig last before you purchase a new one? i know if you maintain it well it lasts long but they can’t last forever :(

      I wear mine for 3-4 months at a time while my hair grows rapidly underneath from not being tugged and pulled and natural moisture. The bad thing is, all my wigs are synthetic and under 30.00 thus far lmfao 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

      I do one week to wash my hair. Sweat and dirt builds up especially when you're in a humid environment and/or workout.

    When you take out the wig can you reuse the wig after it was sewn in or after you had it in for a month or so you gotta throw the wig out?

    Quick Q:
    If someone pulls on your wig when it's installed, is it worse than if they were to put on your actual hair?
    Like, could you be scalped like this?

      No it’s not as bad and it depends on how hard the person is pulling and how tight your wig is sewn down
      It usually just comes undone when the person is pulling and might rip the lace
      However sometimes a persons hair could get pulled out if it’s sewn on really really tight but usually the lace just rips
      It has happened to me before
      I’ve never heard of someone get scalped from pulling off a wig lol
