I have a friend who is in the club none of us wants to bein. She is a gold star mother. I remember when she was so excited her son was going in the military, such a proud day. A year and a half later, bless his heart, he was gone, awaiting the Lord. Its been a privilege to know her, she has handled this with such grace. He gave his life for his country, she gave her son for this country. I love you Chrissy, and I respect the hell out of you. God keep your loving hand of protection around her heart and her family.

I also think about my grandads who fought in the trenches in WWI ..they , and my dad also fought in WWII . I was blessed to serve as an Air Force wife for 10 yrs. My Dad WWII,Granddad WWI served in the military.My husband never had to fight in a war,but he did support in Guam during VIETNAM. I love our country and all military . The family sacrifice a lot to allow their spouses ,parents and children in order for them to serve. May God be with each one in this turmoil around the world. Thank you Kevin for such a beautiful tribute to our fallen soldiers. My grandson was given the opportunity to go to Omaha Beach and the WWII cemetery in France. He cried in both places and told his mom,their were too many that died just so he could live in a free country. He'll be going into the Air Force soon. I'm proud of his love for our country.

My husband was a Vietnam veteran he was the man out in the field where the gunfire was fixing up soldiers who came in with severed legs severed arms head traumas and some whom didn’t make it. Because he was in Vietnam under these circumstances he came back home with 100% disability PTSD. He is now gone, passed away from agent orange difficulties. He did give his life for our country. I missed him each and every day. God has this wonderful man now. ❤️ Thank you for your song.
As a Vietnam veteran of 68-69 my heart goes out to you Barbara. I lost friends there as well and I think of them often. We were so very young and in many ways we young soldiers loved our nation. Our Flag.. Our people. Lately it seems however, that more & more day I wonder. Was it really all worth it. Were those fleeting moments we had with our loved ones, our sweet hearts really worth the sacrifice we all made. Wives and children left behind as these brave young men, gave of their last full measure. I've pondered that for years now Barbara because somehow, with God's 'grace' I came home. Home to my loving wife and beautiful two year old boy. And all in all Barbara, I have to say 'yes'. God has blest us so much and in memory of those who did give of their last full measure, whether on the battlefield or from a disability that eventually took their lives. As a disabled veteran myself, I have to say, yes. God bless you Barb and may God fill your with His love and grace.

I have to have faith in that or I couldn't get out of bed but strangely enough it's true. My husband was a Vietnam veteran he was the man out in the field where the gunfire was fixing up soldiers who came in with severed legs severed arms head traumas and some whom didn’t make it. Because he was in Vietnam under these circumstances he came back home with 100% disability PTSD. He is now gone, passed away from agent orange difficulties. He did give his life for our country. I missed him each and every day. God has this wonderful man now. ❤️ Thank you for your song.

As a Vietnam veteran of 68-69 my heart goes out to you Barbara. I lost friends there as well and I think of them often. We were so very young and in many ways we young soldiers loved our nation. Our Flag.. Our people. Lately it seems however, that more & more day I wonder. Was it really all worth it. Were those fleeting moments we had with our loved ones, our sweet hearts really worth the sacrifice we all made. Wives and children left behind as these brave young men, gave of their last full measure. I've pondered that for years now Barbara because somehow, with God's 'grace' I came home. Home to my loving wife and beautiful two year old boy. And all in all Barbara, I have to say 'yes'. God has blest us so much and in memory of those who did give of their last full measure, whether on the battlefield or from a disability that eventually took their lives. As a disabled veteran myself, I have to say, yes. God bless you Barb and may God fill your with His love and grace.
