I'm not a fan of his HE usage, especially against battleships. Yes he did get some fires but seeing 4~5 volleys of 0 damage makes me shake my head. Only with some range (@12:40 onwards) does the deck pen HE hits count.

I dony understand how he is firing at the ships while not actually aiming at them. is it because it is a replay, the point of view is being moved, or soemthing fishy? especially evident around the 9:30 mark vs the nc and the atago

It's to do with the replay when free look is used. The replay doesn't record when free look is being used so it moves the turrets even tho in the original game he was just holding RMB and looking around.

Holding RMB will pull your camera out of scope and examine your surroundings while keeping your guns fixed wherever you're aiming, or locked onto your target. Very basic mechanic.
