Damn the finish on that rifle is beautiful and durable at the same time, also look at the quality machining of the bolt and carrier. It's very well done and slick. That's a nice rifle.
There's a reason why this iconic DMR is still in use by many hands today. Not only is it beautiful but when properly maintained it's reliable and incredibly potent in doing its job.
A bout 10 years or so back, I was at a local outdoor range talking to a fellow shooter. He was former red army and used this particular rifle when he was in the service. He had one of these with him. We discussed long range shooting competitions. He originally shot one of these, but ended up switching to an American bolt rifle. Said at greater ranges, it just couldn't keep up with a bolt gun.

I love my drugenov it's one of my favorite rifles I got it back in 93 for like 200 now the price has gone through the roof.
In Europe we can buy them new from Izhmash for around 1800. At least one thing about guns that's better here then in US.
