Chris Kläfford does not simply do a covers...he lays claim of ownership.
He has great originals. His rendition of Ocean Eyes is pure perfection. He takes girls just want to have fun and makes you realize the damned song actually have good lyrics. My fav is a song of his own: "i´m not ready" from his own RUclips channel.
He also does a fantastic version of Tennessee Whiskey!

George Jones made the first cover of the song in 1983.
Chris Stapleton made a new fantastic cover of the song in 2015 and many mistakes it for being the original version.

The thing about CK is that his cover of every song is the best cover of it ever.

I saw this audition a while ago, and the only criticism I have, and I know it's tiny and maybe a little petty, but why did he have to wear skinny jeans? Great voice and interpretation none the less.
“This guy” is no “amateur” as he has made a habit of competing on these amateur shows. I am not saying he isn’t a good singer, actually just the opposite, but his teardrops are added because he knows they work.
