Interesting meatloaf! I'm in the southern US, and tomato is front and center in meatloaf in my family, and I never would have thought to mix tomato with potatoes - we eat fried potatoes with catsup, but rarely mix them otherwise. I have liked Greek food when I've had it before, but really only remember Moussaka and Spanikopita, and lamb. When I do meatloaf, I form them into individual loaves and back on a broiler rack to drain fat. I also add finely shredded cabbage throughout the mix to get another vegetable in and keep meat moist. As an American, got to add sugar somehow (lol), so our loaves are glazed with a catsup + brown sugar mixture, and cooked until little black dots form under broiler. I love rice pudding, especially with a side of fruit :) Loved seeing your time in the orchard!
This sounds heavenly and I’ll definitely try it someday!! Also the shredded cabbage inside is so clever way to add a vegetable without overpowering the flavours,it will also cancel the sugar you add in my opinion 😂 I miss our fig orchard so much now that it’s winter and can’t wait to be there everyday in summer ♥️♥️ thank you for taking the time to share your recipe with me♥️♥️♥️♥️

It became perfect, sooo CUTE!!! and so much effort again put into this meatloaf meal, I can imagine it was a real hit with Mr P!! It was really nice to see the making of the rice pudding! It resembles a lot to what we call "rice porridge" over here and that is traditionally eaten during Christmas. Its rice cooked in milk, little water, cinnamon, bit of salt and possibly, optional, a bit of sugar. No cornstarch. Your pudding must be better with both vanilla and a good amount of sugar😊😊, it looks DELICIOUS!!💕💕

With the everyday life of trying to see what to make for lunch or dinner,it’s so special when you are remembering a recipe that has a deeper meaning than just a means to eat! Rice pudding in particular is there for every culture which makes it even more special ♥️♥️♥️ Also always grandparents are the best !!!
