    Cool.
    We used to put twin piped 700 cats in them. Just have to cut pipes to fit. We also used to just raise hoods a couples inches with uhmw.

      It's snowing right now although I don't think we are going to get much, enough to rip around the yard at least

    so like 6 weeks ago I had only ridden a snow mobile once. now I own 3 phazers. im not sure if you inspired me or cursed me. either way I need help. we got my wife a 1994 phazer 2. it hadn't ran in years. I rebuilt the carbs and fuel pump and got it running. we took them out and was going good when her phazer made a screech noise and stopped. we towed it back with my 86 phazer i pulled the motor pulled the heads and cylinders and everything looks good. only issue I have seen so far is the motor had almost no oil in it. no rust no metal shavings. I ordered a clutch puller to get to the oil pump but I still can not get the clutch off. what am I doing wrong?? how do i get the clutch off?

      I've never had any luck with clutch pullers. I have a bolt that threads into the clutch and I tip the engine on its side so I can pour water in the center of the clutch, then when I put the bolt in it creates hydraulic pressure and pushes the clutch off.

    I don't know anything about modern sleds (had a '74 Skidoo T'NT as a kid) -- what is the appeal of the high/forward seat and handlebar?

    • @TM-rx6qk
      @TM-rx6qk 3 года назад

      Probably that you have more mobility on the sled because you can stand on the back of the tunnel and bring the skis up and stuff

      For me it's just to give the sled a more "rider forward" feel like the new sleds have. For the type of riding I do I don't sit on the seat that much anyways.

    What type of seat do you use?

      @adaminthemitten8940  3 года назад +1

      These are seats from small Chinese quads, can find them on Ebay for pretty cheap

      @@adaminthemitten8940 you may have posted a vid showing it but what happened to the seat? You use new ones I've noticed and that thing is looking 20 years weathered already.
