- Whitehaven Harbour, 16 September 2023; the weather was just dull enough to make the personal rainbows look brighter. As usual, the necessity of keeping my shop open until 5:30 meant that I only arrived as everybody was packing up, but I hope this little video captures a flavour of the event.
People have been wondering why Whitehaven Pride happens in September while the main celebration takes place in June.
I think it's pretty obvious...
I mean, as the old saying goes:
Pride always cometh before the Fall!
