Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2023 is a festival of traditional Irish music being held in the town of Mullingar this year. Musician's of all ages are invited to perform on the streets and in the pubs of Mullingar to for a week in August that will see 500,000 visitors the town.
The Fleadh Cheoil (meaning "festival of music") is an Irish music festival run by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (CCÉ), a non-profit organisation. The festival includes live music events as well as competition. Each year a single town or city hosts the Fleadh: it has been held in Mullingar, Sligo, and Tullamore, among others.

Dear Peter!
We were able to participate in a real festival atmosphere. It's good to see so many young talents. I felt sorry for one little girl, she seemed lonely, even though she could play a beautiful instrument: the accordion.
Mullingar is a very pretty place with colorful houses and pretty shop windows.
Thanks for the trip, I really enjoyed it.
