I'm not familiar with this particular roundabout and whether or not it can be described as progress but generally speaking, if you want to build or change something to make things better, something that has been there for a long time before is going to have to change or be destroyed. Progress always means change. Change means someone always has to lose something that has been precious to them for a long time. Hopefully the benefits to the majority will outweigh the losses to the few. This man and his sister didn't want to give up on their precious family home. Hopefully when he finally relented after 21 years, the new house was better and more comfortable in every way.

This is a great drive around Dublin seeing all of the historical areas as well as the beautiful scenery, countryside and the awesome sea this was really nice weather for driving around and exploring the city of Dublin and its neighboring towns, this is very nice and i really enjoyed it a lot until your next video Thank You Peter.🇮🇪🍀🇮🇪

Dear Peter! This is a video that you have to watch again and again! Waterford is a spectacular mix of old and new, modern shops, traditional pubs, elegant restaurants. The many wall paintings are a bit unusual, the chess board is interesting and much more! It is very difficult to take in the many attractions at once. Thanks for the short, it actually helped me out. I've been researching my family history and my 2nd great grandmother (so my granddad's grandmother) was born in 33 Charlotte Street. Naturally the street doesn't show up if you look for it with modern maps. The fact it connected to Camden Street makes so much sense now, since her father and grandfather ran a poulterers on Camden Street.

The 16 bus use to go down there in the 80s.

There is also the 40 steps in high street it's beside the church just beside cornmarket,,it also has a haunted history.

My mother and brother are buried here it's such a beautiful area (I know weird to say about a graveyard) but it is you can see the whole of Dublin bay and it's just at the base of Howth Summit with an older graveyard beside it. RIP MA AND STEVE.❤
