How the GST will be calculated if I buy a used smartphone from an unregistered person and sell it through online retail website and passing the same invoice to the new customer?
I want to purchase a laptop worth 3lacs rupees from Malaysia because its cheaper there. My yearly income is 12 lac as freelancer which I receive the whole amount directly in my bank account. I want to show this 3 lacs laptop as my business expanse and want to show total income only 9 lacs. Can I do that? Should I purchase that laptop from my friends name or my name on the bill in Malaysia(because I don't go to Malaysia)?
Hi Abhishek, Laptop will be considered as an Asset and not a Expense and you can claim depreciation on the same @ 15% which you can claim expense of 15% each year and not full expense in one year because it is not an expense but Asset.
