Hi and thanks for dropping in.
This video is about finding parts from other cars that fit the Rival MT8. The upgraded parts available are very limited for this car and I am constantly trying to think outside the box. On this one I found some hub extenders for a Hobao and all the CVD diameters and bearing sizes matched up. So I bought a full set and decided to give it a go installing them. The install was a success but not without having to make a couple of modifications which are pretty simple. I’m super happy with the outcome and look forward to using them to beat the MT8 world speed record 72 mph currently held by MIT Sori the leader of the MT8 Facebook group. My aim is to hit 80 mph using stock electronics and to then break the 100 mph barrier with some serious upgrades to the ESC and motor. All in good time, for now just to beat the current 72 Mph will be a big one. Thanks for watching.

Extreme Bash Parts Info & How To Get In Touch
Hi we supply extreme bash parts. Please either get in touch via my facebook page or email JPBashed@Gmail.com if you are interested in finding out more.
We can make any pin for most RC cars and scales up to 1/7th scale.
If we don’t currently manufacture the Hinge Pins we can make them if you can provide some simple information and improve your Bashing Experience
    Hinge Pins
After constantly bending the stock hinge pins on my MT8 after a bashing session and damaging the metal hinges and lower arms I decided to do something about it.
Stock MT8 hinge pins are super cheap and super weak. I would guess made from a mild steel which bends just by looking at in the wrong way.
I was sick of replacing the hinge pins every week and doing damage to even the toughest lower arms such as RPM. Yes I was eating through RPM arms opening up the hole the pin sits in so bad the arms needed replacing.
So I started testing different materials in a quest to find a hinge pin that would be strong and durable and allow me to Bash my car without unnecessary damage to the car.
Currently we have tried and tested many different metals to find the strongest most durable parts to add to your RC cars
Currently we can provide various hinge pins for mainly 1/8th scale RC cars in various materials
    MT8 - Stainless Steel 304
MT8 - HSS Steel Heat Treated
    Arrma - Titanium Grade 5
These come cut to the correct size with a chamfer and you even get a sticker 😝
We have also developed a hinge pin that is stronger than Titanium that when is put under extreme force snaps and prevents damage to lower arms. This is currently still being Tested to ensure consistency.
We also supply carbon fibre braces for the MT8
3D printed parts on request and bespoke designs can be done if requested

@@ThaHellhoundSuper Hey bud. Those tyres are Jetko Tomahawks belted. The diff cups only come from Team associated as a repair kit. Well in 2 x different repair kits depending on if centre or front/rear. People say Kaiju will fit but I don’t think they are the same. They are bought from Redcat usually. If your CVD keeps popping out you have a damaged suspension part. Hinge pins bent or lower arm damaged somewhere or the Hub itself. Which driveshafts safe popping out the centre ones or the ones to the wheels?
I would give the car a good close inspection where I said to look. Assuming the diff cup isn’t broken itself?
Thanks for the encouragement. It takes a lot of time to put a video together like that. 😉

@@ThaHellhoundSuper the roads you have to run on would be just what I need to do my speed run for the record. Nothing like that in the UK! You would run the Jetko SuperSonics on those roads really well. They are like an F1 Tyre with a few tiny groves on them. Sticky as hell on nice hot asphalt.

maybe a bit of heat on the end to get that last bit on might work - nice build 🛻
