- Paciente visto por primera vez en consulta en 2015 con 26 años. Medicado con finasteride hace 7 años, tiene como antecedente una operación por tira (FUT), en clínica nacional, con nula supervivencia a la edad de 19 años, que deja como secuela cicatriz ancha en parte posterior. Buena donante por lo que se procede con el planteamiento habitual de 2 operaciones para cobertura mínima y posibilidad de tercera para aumentar cobertura.
En la primera cirugía se extraen 3003 FUE Grafts (7656 pelos; 2, 55 pelos/graft, 60-65 micras de pelo, 0.8/0.85 mm punch; Grafts: I-296; II-1126; III-1230; IV-338; V-12; VI-1) para restaurar zona frontal y media.
A los 4 meses y medio realizamos la segunda cirugía, extrayendo 2901 grafts (7213 pelos, 2,49 pelos/graft, 0.85 mm punch; Grafts: I-286, II-2284, III-1174; IV-248; V-9).
El video muestra la evolución y crecimiento a los 9 meses. Pendiente una tercera intervención para aumentar cobertura general.
The first time we’ve seen this patient was 2015 with 26 year-old. He has been with finasteride the last 7 years, and has a background of a FUE procedure at the age of 19, in a local clinic, with poor survival and a wide scar in the back. Good donor area so we proceed with the usual plan: 2 step strategy for a mínimum coverage and the possibility of a third procedure if we want to increase the coverage.
In the first procedure we extracted 3003 FUE Grafts to restore the frontal and mid areas (7656 hairs; 2, 55 hairs/graft, 60-65 microns of hair, 0.8/0.85 mm punch; Grafts: I-296; II-1126; III-1230; IV-338; V-12; VI-1).
After 4.5 months we carried out the second surgery, extracting 2901 Grafts (7213 hairs, 2,49 hairs/graft, 0.85 mm punch; Grafts: I-286, II-2284, III-1174; IV-248; V-9)
Video shows the evolution and regrowth at 9 months.
A third surgery is planned to augment the overall coverage.

Sad site? Are you really this ignorant or are you joking? The grafts are taken from the safe zone, they are not prone to be affected by DHT. This means they will remain there for the rest of his life.

He will be in a loop of always wanted to fix something that doesn't need to be fixed. Also, the hair he has isn't permanent. He is designed to bald, so it will happen again.

many men feel insecure about hair loss, it is a traumatic occurrence in a man just as it would be for a woman, our hair frames our face and adds to our appearance, losing hair makes a man look much older, this is traumatic if you are in your 20s or 30s, hair surgery is not an extreme procedure, it is a careful and delicate one that is for sure and involves some cost, but women spend thousands on fake boobs and fake lips, I think it is okay for men to restore their hair if it can be done, it is not sad, it is encouraging and hopeful to see what transformations are possible with hair surgery.
