I'd been looking for this for a while, and finally got one about two weeks ago. I use it daily to lock and unlock the carriage on my mini-lathe.
I bought this probably 6/7 months ago. I’ve used it from daily projects around the house to putting on a torquing a new red dot on my weapons. You can buy the 1/4in drive from fixit sticks and you have yourself a very practical set.
If only HF had this set in stock!

What I love about this is that you can throw on other 1/4 inch extensions to make it even longer for far reaching areas. Doesn’t always come in handy but for some smaller low torque bolts in hard to reach areas (like an engine bay) it is very useful.
Have it, carry it, love it.

I the same set daily, I repair CNC machining centers. The hex bits are a life saver. If you line up the dots on the extention and the thumb wheel you can slide it in like a tee handle which is what sold me on it
How well has it held up?
I've never bought anything from HF but this looks perfect for working in a machine shop. Think I might get the maintenance tech one also since I've given him so many headaches repairing my lathes lol

This kit was featured on some more popular youtube channels earlier this year. People went out and cleaned out all the HF when they realized they were getting hard to find now they sell them on Ebay for double the price. You can get them on Ebay if you want to pay double. When HF finally get them back in stock they probably will also double the price just to stop the price gouging on Ebay. Even when HF has them you can only buy in the store they don’t sell them over the internet. Thanks RUclips

Just got mine yesterday. Definitely a sweet set and more versatile than my wiha bit ratchet set although it's very nice as well comes with impact rated bits and extension too
I got mine for 35 bucks on sale online from HF and it was supposed to ship in like 6 weeks, it shipped in one week!

i got it from the time it came out. i buy things i like or i know will be out of stock in 2s but i had the other brands out of this design but they are way more expensive for no reason love them but i wouldn't use them for heavy jobs not even a medium 3/8 stubbys is a greater overall buy for light and heavy work

the manufacturer of this set is HI-FIVE.
they make these for MAC TOOLS, FACOM , USAG, TOPTUL, ICON, WURTH, DEAN , KS TOOL, VIM, RUJOI ,and the list goes on.
we basically only get the ICON, MAC, VIM, and RUJOI here in the US and the ICON is the only affordable way for us to get the set like this ( the FACOM can be had sometimes, but they're overpriced ), otherwise the other versions we can get are longer and not available in these sets.

While others are correct that you can get this same set from other brands, if you’re looking for similar but not the same I’d look at the Wera Tool Check, the Wiha Go Box ratchet, the Klein Tools mini Electricians ratchet, and some of the bit ratchet options from Titan.

What kind of ratchet is that named with it being able to attach extensions as a handle ?
This is funny. I own a older tool set like this, that i got from my dad. It was made in the US by a christan company. It doesn't have as many options as this one, but dam it's a useful tool. Basically I used it so much, I ended up steeling it from him.

look for FACOM, USAG, TOPTUL, or WURTH, all different versions of the same tool.
the manufacturer is a Taiwanese company called HI-FIVE, and they've been making these for at least a decade.
countless companies source their own versions of them ( they will say REVERSE GEAR on the thumb wheel ).
here most other versions are rarely imported if at all and way too expensive when they are, I've heard that these other brands versions are fairly affordable in many European countries.

@@TylerSnyder305 I got the FACOM and USAG versions that are strictly the same tool in the same box (with variations on the bit kit depending on bundle) and a KSTOOL one that is of far lower quality (but less than half the price), no idea if that last one also comes from the same manufacturer though
