Super impressed with Chris Pratt. The reaction he got from a boring-ass trick. Just shows how much difference it can make when you are a super engaging person.
I remember that a promotional thing for House With The Clock in The Walls had the on-set magic consultant get into a magic trick battle with Jack Black,
I just love Chris Pratt's one. The first time I saw it I was just awestruck by his charisma and perfect timing. Jennifer helped by playing the part perfectly as well. Not sure if it was rehearsed or not but the whole bit was just golden.
These particular videos are quickly becoming something towards which I truly look forward, much like one would look forward to a favourite TV show back in the day when new episodes aired once a week. Also loving the Wes and Chris collaborations - truly appreciate the unique and comedic way in which your minds work. Keep it up mate, lovin' it.
The gimmick in the first trick is something Paul Harris had released some years back based on an old trick that used to come in the TV magic set in the 1970's.
To give some context to the Daniel Radcliffe clip, 1. It was a British Quiz show called QI, which is a panel show with 4 celebrities being asked questions by Stephen Fry (the guy in the hat). It's a bit more complicated than that, but the rest isn't really relevant. For more info visit en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QI 2. Each episode of QI has a theme. The theme of this episode was Hocus Pocus. 3. The trick was done at the end of the show after the main format (mostly trivia questions) was finished. All four panellists performed a trick. If I remember rightly, the other two panellists did the saw a person in half trick. 4. Stephen asked Daniel: "Have you finished the last two movies yet?" The episode was filmed in 2010, before the last Harry Potter film was released. 5. Graham says "He found Dorothy, now he's killing Harry Potter!" Earlier that year, Graham hosted a TV talent show to find an actress to play Dorothy in a stage show of The Wizard of Oz. 6. Immediately after the trick, the credits rolled, and they showed his head in a basket afterwards. They never confirmed that he was OK and he hasn't appeared in an episode since. (FYI - he was ok and you can look up how the trick is done online)
Actors and tv personalities should collab with magicians more often. You get expert performers and expert technical magicians... Basically NPH as a duo
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 5. The episode opens with a magic trick performed by Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell) where she produces an egg. And then produces a strip of latnum from behind Quark's (Armin Shimerman) ear.
Stephen Fry the host in the clip where Graham beheads Daniel, he is a member/honorary member of the magic circle for his work with magic and that he has never told how he does the tricks.
At 7:06 Jennifer Lawrence goes from “This is cringe embarrassing. Why am I sitting next to the guy making a fool of himself?” To “I WANT TO MAKE BABIES WITH YOU!!!!” In like, 1.5 seconds flat......
How do you not like Chris Pratt’s trick?! I learned it, and it gets amazing reactions!! C’mon Wes!! (And, I’m not a very charismatic person, nor am a super charming)
As a complete beginner magician, I was so bummed when you said you hated Chris Pratt's trick, because I love it :). I suppose it's probably easier to sell as a beginner because friends just expect you to fail miserably, and you appear to do so, whereas for a P&T fooler, people won't buy you messed up so bad. I'm glad you changed you mind at the end ;). I love these videos man, please keep them coming :D
He wasn’t saying the trick was bad on its own, just that it’s bad by a magician’s standards since it’s usually one of the first tricks people end up learning when they first get into magic. The trick is obviously cool to people who don’t know anything about magic, but when u have years of practice with magic, u end up realizing how basic the trick is.
I just watched the movie Sleight a couple of weeks ago in which the protagonist is a street magician. I liked the movie even though it had several flaws, but wondered what you thought about it!
Cumsabunch might be the best version of his last name I've heard. 😂😂
Beenadick Cuminnersnatch
@@fatmike9836 I can't stop fucking laughing 😂😂😂💔
I'm on the floor feckin dying 😂😂😂
Since he's doing magic now, maybe it's a bunch of flowers :///
i cant breath from laughing

@@RNN-mw2fi just search "Chris Pratt magic trick explained" there's a bunch of videos explaining it
You just know that Jennifer has seen Chris do that trick like 5 times now.
She played the part well looking genuinely embarrassed for him and then legit shocked when he finally got it. She is an actress though of course.
Do a Britain’s or America’s got talent magic review
Great idea!
That would be great!
I think that bgt and agt will be interesting 🤔
That will be grand
That sound like factofusion
I think Chris Pratt just basically made that trick so entertaining because of his comedy
I remember that a promotional thing for House With The Clock in The Walls had the on-set magic consultant get into a magic trick battle with Jack Black,
Sounds more interesting than the actual movie.
I just love Chris Pratt's one. The first time I saw it I was just awestruck by his charisma and perfect timing. Jennifer helped by playing the part perfectly as well. Not sure if it was rehearsed or not but the whole bit was just golden.
Wes "so much panting"
Also Wes (off camera) "stealing that sound bite for ... professional uses later, ya, ya, professional uses."
I'm really going to miss that wallpaper when you move...
agreed i legit thought that previously lmao

There is an episode in the second season of th Goldbergs you should review!!
You got it!
If Chris pratt is a fan of magic, he would probably be down to do something with you and that would be awesome + a cocktail 3 way with Chris pratt
Bimblestack Cobbletopper is the best. I love it.
Magic is only as powerful as the one wielding it.
I wanna go to a show of Wes just so I can go make fun of his tricks. Call them boring lol
He’s basing them off of how much he likes the tricks.
The reason Harry is being exicuted is because he does magic!
Neil Patrick Harris sounds like his doing karate and is constipated
chris brought me here xD

I love all magic and slight, however I enjoy magic with humor more that magic with a dead Pan seriousness. Great video Wes♥️🙂
Agreed!

You’re such a cool chill dude! Could watch your videos for hours
Kids used to do this trick with zephyrhill sports bottles because the clear cap that fit over the mouth piece fit perfectly in the hole!
"Welcome everybody my name is West Burger." 😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
Ooh ooh ooh!
The opening scene of Sleight!
i love this series keep it up!
The thing I find super funny about the guillotine one, is that you saw his cut “neck” when the blade should be in front of it
Pratts delivery is the best part

Maybe this was the trick Benedict Cumberbatch showed in his audition for the role of Dr Strange to beat down Daniel Radcliffe for that role
I’m sorry, but Benedict Cums - A - Bunch just made my day... it’s 1:41AM 😂
The Eights of Hearts/Ace of Hearts joke is hilarious 😂
Daniel in Guillotine stems from the british comedy quizzy show QI Quite Intetesting and was taken from the episode M Magic, if I am not mistaken.
Correction: QI XL Hocus Pocus
Haha should have called this one pimp me out 😂 I'd love if one of them hit you up dude
I would love to see you guys do something with Xavior, I miss him since he left Twitch.
Ah.... this made a lousy day less lousy! Thank you, sir!

Chris Pratt as won me over on that trick. I thought it sucked but now I think it’s pretty great again.
