Kinda crazy to think that a 7 year old world goes back to 2016, feels like 7 years ago should be 2012 or something
True haha I started back in 2013 on my other world, I think I may have a video of it on here. The only reason I stopped on it was because It was corrupted for a few months so I started this world.

I’ve been building medieval cities since I was 9 in Minecraft, and the fact that this is a survival build, and has so much detail, makes this build one of the greatest survival builds I’ve ever seen

You should be proud. Many people get bored of their worlds after a month and then start a new one. You will look back on the memories and, eventually, one day, show your children all your creative work as if it never aged. Truly a beautiful thing to have

I think people should do this more often, just start a solo survival world, and do and build literally whatever. Some may start thinking, but for whom is this build for? Who else but you! Log in from time to time, check in on the farms, the villages, towns, kingdoms, cities, structures, statues, pets and etc. Make your own world!
Yes! You absolutely get it. This world is something I hope to always have. I will build and take breaks. Go through many seasons of life, but yet I will always have this world to escape to. Make it my own personal form of art.

I never really planned for my world to get this big, I just started with a normal small village, but I just kept coming back and playing on it over the years as I would have ideas. I use to just start new ones all the time, but I encourage everyone to just build on one world and see what happens with it.

Its cool when you start a world and whenever you aren’t working on it you get those little ideas like a post office or terraforming the river. Or when the game gets updated so you go back and fix those things that needed the update.
Yes, I do that all the time haha it keeps me from getting burnt out.

It’s the small things with this world, on Xbox you’re more limited than say the computer so it almost requires more imagination. Had a smile the whole time you can really see how much thought went into everything. It’s awesome that minecraft allows us to use our imagination like we’re kids again.

This reminds me of my world i used to play with my friends, funnily enough made in 2016 also. Never used it as much, probably about 2 straight years and here and there periods.. but we never built a huge city. But we all had our own houses, a watchtower, a court, train station etc. this city makes me wonder what we were doing with all our time xD we probably only had 20 small-medium sized builds in the city, excluding farms. But even now when we talk about it we refer to it as “The OG world” .. it’s the MAIN world we had growing up through school, and visiting each building, knowing we all won’t get back on together, fills me up with nostalgia that’s hard to describe. Playing a 7 year old game would be enough, but being in a world you made 7 years ago, you remember placing each block, you remember saying “Hey let’s build a court”, it does flood the memories. Make sure to make 2-3 extra copy saves of your world, incase the original and his copy get faulty, you always got the third
Thank you for sending this, I feel the same about this world. I have so many fun memories on it, mostly with my brother, but he quit playing about 5 years ago. For some reason I just never stopped playing on it and I still add more every week. However there are parts of the world I dont touch or update because they are too nostalgic. I visit those places often and think of the good times.
I actually had a world before this one where we played on for 2 years, and it got corrupted. Ever since then I make a back up of this world once a week.

Same here about not touching some parts of the world. On my one, we all built around the river, all of our houses and the church next to it, tons of gravel in the river. When i used to play it , (i no longer do , switched consoles) i would always avoid the plot of gravel which site underneath the water in front of all of our houses. To be honest , a good chunk of that world is like a National Park xD , never to be touched again, leave things be.
Something I recommend for you though, now when i build anything, i will put a sign in the building, usually covered up by trapdoors so you can’t see the sign unless you open them, and on the sign i will have the Day, Month and Year i finished the build, sometimes even the exact time i placed down the sign. It’s a tradition i started doing 3 or so years ago and once you do it, you’ll never stop doing so.
It’s something i wish I would’ve done on my old world, looking back now, I would’ve loved to know when i built it, if it was after the school day, before the school day. It might seem odd, but to me now, a build isn’t complete until i mark the date on a sign. It’s just as important as the windows or the doors
@@MichaelJ44 Thats honestly such a great idea! I will definitely be doing that from now on. I wish I could go back and do that for my old builds though. I have made videos on almost all the world, but that was on another channel that I use for other videos now, so I reuploaded most of them onto this channel, but I lost the original dates the videos and builds were created sadly.

Damn that sucks. We had tons of worlds we played on, wish I would’ve kept the even older worlds, but here we are i guess. It makes me appreciate the main one more. Couldn’t imagine losing my old world, it’s genuinely one of my biggest fears in Life lol. Got about 7 copies of the thing

Also, I have a world this long too, but the builds are pretty bad, I attempt to build but a bit hard. You have any tips on the process of building small or big?
I think so, I had to import it from the xbox one. I would say my biggest building tip is you dont have to plan out every detail before you start building. Most of my structures I just start out with a cool shape and I sort of carve out a house or building. I find it pretty fun and puts less pressure on getting things perfect. It makes the world look more natural because in real life there is alot of variety of buildings and shapes.

Hey man. That world is absolutely AMAZING ! 7 years aswell, gosh. I was wondering if I could perhaps have the seed as I’m having a ton of trouble finding a good seed..

@@oBKS12o Hello. I’m also on Xbox so In order to find the seed of a Minecraft world if you load up your world selection page, you want to click on the little pencil/pen icon and then scroll down on the ‘game’ section and there it should say ‘seed’ and ofc the numbers are the seed 👍

I'd be pretendfull and say, I'm a better builder xD but I do like to have a lot of lore in my world as well und while everyone watches like Hermitcraft and the "big" minecrafters, it often doesn't help to much with ideas for your own world as many of them are just "to grand".
Your world isn't small, and it got me a ton of new ideas for my world. I'm not somebody to copy other peoples designs but it is nice to have a new fresh point of inspiration :)

While smaller youtubers just build what is fun, and makes since for their world and imagination. I would love to see your world if you ever thought of uploading it?
@@oBKS12o yeah, I was asked a few times already to upload it and I have a few unique and upgraded farm designs that are more efficient or have additional features compared to what I could find on YT. Not that many redstoners / farm designers on bedrock, most are on Java.
If I find enough time between work I might do it at some point but I have to sort out some performance issues while screen capturing as well...
