At least this man admits when he gets info wrong about a movie and he has a sense of humor. I can't stand an ignorant movie reviewer who cant even formulate a good informative review simply because they refused to pay attention to the movie they paid to see.
Also another that got me is that Godzilla is literally destroying buildings, bridges, and smashing anything and everything. The news report is all oh thankfully we have Godzilla to stop the other Titans. I mean does no one live where these fights happen and he's just destroying empty buildings and shit?!?! I mean wtf!! 😆 😂 lol

It's 1.5 hours of humans you don't care about talking about things you don't care about, 20 minutes of Kong fighting random enemies, 5 minutes of Godzilla doing some random thing, and 5 minutes of the MONSTERS IN THE TITLE FIGHTING TOGETHER. Dude this movie is absolute trash. I couldn't believe how boring it was. People seriously think THIS is more entertaining than GM1?

You can show emotions and can tell how a character can feel by gestures and how they emote with or without talking. Kong did a lot even though he could not talk.

The movies don't do a good job, at all, of making it clear that those events take place over a large number of years. The only movie to take place in a "current" time period is Godzilla (2014). Godzilla vs Kong was released in 2021, but in universe, takes place in 2024. I think GxK takes place in 2029.
A sequel to complete godzilla and kong trilogy will probably get announced anytime this month, it has already surpassed 200 million in under a week. and adam wingard the director said he plans the next one to be focused on godzilla, he said that its gonna be a deep dive to his story. i think he even said that its gonna be darker in tone, which is im excited about. hopefully they finally bring in destroyah as the villain. if its really gonna be dark, aint no better way than bringing in destroyah
I saw it the other day under protest. I’m all for a big, stupid, popcorn movie, but wow…….this was incredibly dumb. I felt my IQ dropping 10 minutes in.

When it seemed GvK would likely be the last movie in the series, I thought it made sense to dispense with logic, physics and even continuity to just finally deliver all the insane and satisfying monster action one could hope for in a modern Godzilla movie that many had felt was underwhelming in the previous movies. The monsters now move too fast, technology jumps 100 years so we can have MechaGodzilla and an aircraft carrier doesn't break in half when Kong jumps on it, but damn if the fight scenes weren't spectacular and everything I ever wanted to see. They also tied everything up like the Ghidorah head and ended the movie with Godzilla swimming off one last time and Kong getting a new home. It abandoned any remaining pretense of seriousness but it was serviceable enough, especially as a grand finale. But the franchise continuing in this style and tone? I just don't know. I found this movie underwhelming to be honest. I think I would have preferred if they stuck to KOTM as the template. When nothing can be taken seriously and things can just happen out of nowhere, I just don't find that engaging, and I do want to be engaged even with my big dumb action.
