At least of those guys were done at the same time; it was just made to look different so that people would get the wrong impression and see the highlighted individual in a different way to the others.

RIP Tommy! Here I am 25 years later reliving this bittersweet moment in his memory. The Ranger legacy was in good hands in his absence before Forever Red
@@KentPetersonmoney Well at least them staying on the show is one reason I continued watching. But I’m surprised Tommy, Kat, Tanya and Adam never found out Bulk and Skull were the chimps.
I know a lot of you guys were bummed about the original rangers, especially Tommy, leaving, but, when the turbo season premiered, they graduated high school. It was time for them to pursue other goals in life.
Keeping the same cast to carry over to the next season makes the franchise stale. They had Kat for nearly 2 seasons (1 full and 2 partials), Tommy and Adam for nearly 3 seasons (although Tommy had a brief one as the Green Ranger before that). In order to keep the content fresh and somewhat salvage the show and the franchise, they had to replace the cast. Power Rangers in Space is the one miracle season that saved the franchise. Overall, my favourite seasons in the Power Rangers Franchise are the following: 1. In Space 2. Time Force 3. Dino Thunder Least Favourite for me: 1. Mega Force 2. Turbo 3. Samurai Mystic Force, Mega Force and Samurai had some of the weakest Red Rangers in the franchise's history.
@@philippoon8879 And it was for the best as difficult as it was to accept. It was easier for me to do so since it took me until this and other seasons were on Netflix to sit down and watch them
The originals had a great run but it was time for a change at this point. Things were getting kind stale with the old group by Turbo, Zeo was the last hurrah for them. I loved the new blood that came in for the 2nd half of Turbo, it gave the series a much needed shot of life and set the stage for In Space!
Yeah Tommy and the other 3 would have been 18-19 at this point assuming none of them repeated a grade or started kindergarten at 4 years old instead of 5. Not sure how the show would have worked with Tommy being a power ranger and a college student. Sure he fought crime as a high school student, but college is different than high school. Maybe when they reboot the power rangers, they could try doing a season where the power rangers were in college.
They are really a family, especially the Turbo rangers to Justin Kat: His loving Mom Tommy; Bada$$ Dad Adam and Tanya; Fun Uncle and Aunt TJ and Carlos; Brothers Ashley and Cassie; Sisters
Tommy, Kat, Tanya, and Adam made their decisions to retire from their duties as Power Rangers and would pass their powers on to their successors TJ, Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos but Justin continues on as the Blue Turbo Ranger.
when i first saw this episode i found it strange for dimitria to not use her questioning voice i always thought justin looked like boxey from battlestar galactica obviously coz of the hair. I bet justin was thinking when TJ got made leader "this new guy is leader?" "shouldn't that be me"? "oh well i'd have to swap colours otherwise". I reckon Tommy and the others also thought to themselves " lets get these guys to replace us and babysit justin too". lol
I remember not being happy when Tommy and the others left. If it wasn't for Justin, I probably would have stop watching the show after this episode. Was mad Tommy didn't get a tribute when he left but Adam, Kat and Tanya left the same time he did which is probably why he didn't get one. I did read recently Trini was supposed to appear in this episode not sure how true that was.
After the new guys took over, I lost interest until they went into space. After space era had ended I stopped watching all together. The zordon era is the era i grew up with and I was sad to see it end. Without zordon and the original Rangers, the shows just didn’t appeal to me anymore.
I was 4 in 1997. It took me a while afterwards until I finally watched a PR episode. I’ve grown to respect the franchise a lot more as an adult. I’m 30 now but I don’t blame you. If I was Justin’s age I would have stopped watching too.
After "Passing The Torch Part 2" 1. Tommy Oliver will become Red Zeo Ranger "Forever Red (Wild Force 2002)", Black Ranger "Back In Black (Dino Thunder 2004)", Tommy Oliver's will become "Dimensions In Danger (Super Ninja Steel 2018)" to become Legendary Rangers celebrating 25 years after Saban Brands is shutdown 2. Adam Park will become Mighty Morphin Black Ranger "Always A Chance (In Space 1998)" and "Once A Ranger (Operation Overdrive 2007)" 3. Katherine Hillard will become Pink Turbo Ranger "Dimensions In Danger (Super Ninja Steel 2018)" and Original Pink Ranger "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always (2023)" 4. After Chase Into Space, Part 2, Justin and my father will become to stay home, not Power Rangers In Space Episode 1-17. Justin will become for the last time call episode 18 "True Blue To The Rescue (In Space 1998)". The last appearance for Justin after In Space Ranger to the save everyone, and Andros is doesn't like me for Power Rangers as a kid
This scene is now heartwrenching considering we just lost Jason David Frank (Tommy).
Once a Ranger, always a Ranger.
At least of those guys were done at the same time; it was just made to look different so that people would get the wrong impression and see the highlighted individual in a different way to the others.
this Power Transfer is just as touching as the others

Good thing Tommy picked TJ and not Bluk or Skull to be the red ranger. I wonder how everyone would have reacted if he did.

After Turbo season, Justin and his dad Doug left Angel Grove after his dad accepted the job.
But he’ll *Shift into Turbo* once more after that

I’ve always wondered if Carlos was originally going to be red at first but then it was decided to make TJ Red
Should how exactly would this effect their Space forms, like Carlos become Blue and TJ becomes Black
@cooper3814 That’s probably another reason why they went with TJ as red
