- This one was definitely a time consuming first attempt for me to do ever since Jason David Frank passed away. Originally, I wanted to do this a few months ago but real life gets in the way at times. When I was working on this poem, despite trying to add music and learn how to edit and make stuff, it's been a learning curve for me to be honest as a beginner. He definitely inspired me and reminded me to try and approach things differently. He was an inspiration to many and he is dearly missed. I tried to also cite the episodes from the clips utilized. #ripjdf #ForeverDragonRanger

(I apologize if it's hard to hear me, but here's the poem in its entirety).
A spark of light has been put out of the world
To many of us, he was a hero and an icon
To others, he was a friend, colleague, and a co-star
Jason David Frank had many facets beyond his initial character on television
He was a father, a husband, a role model, a fighter, and a teacher
For many fans, including myself, he went beyond the morpher.
He took the time to listen to various stories of fans around the world
How he changed their lives both on and off screen
He took the time to bond, to listen, to inspire, and to lift up others
Young and old alike.
But through all that, there was a façade that many of us couldn’t see
The struggles of mental illness
That invisible mask that one wears but it keeps threatening to slip off
An unheard cry for help
The circumstances aren’t always known to many
So, when I received word about his passing and the manner in how it was done
I was shocked, sad, confused, and upset
Another legend gone too soon
His poetry while thought provoking and well put together, gave a tiny glimpse into what was going on
A raging battle inside that few understand
He inspired me and told many to try and reach out, lend an open ear, and work hard
Thank you for the memories, Mr. Frank. Although our time to talk was brief, it was memorable to me.

I grew up watching MMPR after school and on Saturday mornings. This just sucks that, unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to meet him in any Comicon conventions or visit his RSKA school to train with him. I only saw him in costume and in person when they came to Texas years ago for a live action show tour. That is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. @@gisellep177 I was fortunate enough to be able to talk with him on Instagram and he definitely could see that I had a philosophical side to me so...it's definitely clear that we connected on that. I had also given a copy of my poem to a few Rangers and even to one of his kids (Skye). I'll be having an interview with one of the stuntmen who was in the suit of Green and White the day after I do my revisit to Angel Grove (literally). [I'm doing MMPR 95 again even though I did it once with another RUclipsr].
@@gisellep177 I would have to agree with you, Because I too Grew up watching MMPR, it was one of my Favorite Series, Right Next To, Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, Big Bad BEETLEBORGS, Masked Rider, VR Troopers, I would watch them every day and Saturday Morning on Fox Kids (R.I.P), I've always Admired JDF and all the others too (from all the other PR Series too) (and the other Series that I've talked about), Sometimes when I'm Mad, or Angry, or Frustrated about something, I just think Back about How JDF and the others from other PR Series (Like Alien Rangers, Zeo, Turbo, In Space Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, Mystic Force, Time Force, Wild Force, Samurai/Super Samurai, Dino Charge/Super Dino Charge, Dino Fury, RPM, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, Beast Morphers, Dino Fury) (and those other Non-Power Rangers Series that I've talked about) they would handle the situation, that is if they weren't fighting the bad guys (BTW Ransik And Heckyl is still my Two Favorite PR Villains, They're Way better than all the other PR Villains that Came Before and After Them, also I hope that someday I'll get my chance to meet either Vernon Wells or Ryan Carter in person).
@@geekarchivistpearce828 Wow, that's Amazing, I'm just sad that I never got my chance to meet him in person, I remember seeing him on MMPR, when he was the Evil Green Ranger, and I've even seen him become the White PR, and the Red Zeo PR, I've even followed him when he went on Dino Thunder, and Became the Black Dino Thunder PR, also I had a big crush on him, Sometimes when I'm Mad or upset about something, I just think about how he would handle the situation, that is if he's not fighting the bad guys, also sometimes I have secret fantasies about being married to him, and living on a farm, far from the main road, wire fence all around it, an automatic gate at the end of the driveway, a big front yard, a big backyard, with an above ground swimming pool surrounded by a wrapped around front porch, a shaded in gazebo at the end, a back porch table and chairs, with a canopy umbrella, a Barbeque Grill, a front porch swing on the front porch, hanging potted plants, a flower bed in the front, we would watch two watch dogs, one would be an Siberian Husky named Avalanche, and a Golden Retriever named Bucky, Our Farmhouse would be a Two Story One, it'll have six Generac Generators, It'll have a Living Room, a Dining Room, Kitchen, a Family Movie Room, and Bedrooms too, we even have five house pets, one is a Calico Cat named Patches, a Papillion named Buddy, a Hamster named Sunny, two female Guinea Pigs named Mirabel and Raya, a Parakeet named Chipper, also to quote a song from "Heaven was needing a Hero by Joe Dee Messina" (I don't own any of the song lyrics, so Copywrite), This is my Tribute to JDF.

I wish I met him. When I heard about his passing I was upset and devastated. I will never forget him. He inspired me and many others. Rest In Peace Jason. May the power always protect you. Once a ranger, always a ranger.

Tommy haw always been the very smybol of what Power Rangers was as not only a show... Not a franchise... But a _universe._
JDF will forever stay in our hearts and in the Morphin' Grid itself protecting his soul...

I miss him alot. I met him 3 times at Lexington comic con. He was my childhood hero. I was his biggest fan! Makes me sad and cry when he died. He was my friend. 💚😔
I miss him so much things haven't been easy for me since he died it feels so hard to become attach to something in your life when you know sooner or later it will be gone.

Same. My cousin asked me through Viber and showed screenshots of posts from some of the Rangers when word got out. (I told myself to wait from an official news source...and then it hit).
