Ah, the burble of a Baldwin Diesel. Just like Alco it has a sound of it's own. Thank you for taking the time to properly video this amazing locomotive.
I watch this video three times a year and have dine since I found it in 2013👍 It is still in my top 5 favourite Rail videos. Still inspiring and the Baldwin is still a beautiful piece of equipment with a wonderful sound. Thank you so much for posting❤
This is an excellent video. When was the last time something in PRR paint in revenue service shined in the sun like that? That loco is pure class. Very weed-free trackage. But what impressed me the most was the crew. Very efficient, and smooth. That engineer got the cuts of cars hustling, but every coupling was smooth and gentle. Excellent example of railroad switching operations.
Another Top Notch video Adam, It is good to see a old Baldwin diesel still in work, And boy the paint looks great on Her!! I like the begging of the video right when the engine fires up! Must of been a fun day for you! 2 thumps Up!
Do we have to see the green box announcing the other SMS operations all the way through this one? Just show it for a few seconds then off it goes. It's distracting! And I can understand using the big traditional serif typeface for headlines, but not for all the other interim titles..go small and go more legible!

Just love that Baldwin burble. reminds me as a kid watching the E&LS Baldwins go by my childhood home.
Good watching Baldwin again. Thanks
@ohiosouthern Thanks Kodi! It was a fun day; they are a great group of people down there.
Great Video! I went to their website and saw they are in the process of rebuilding a Steam Engine former NH&I RR #9.
@Baldwindiesels I'm glad you like it Tim!

There is a great article about this rail line and that locomotive in August 2011 Trains Magazine. There are several pics of the locomotive in action.
