    Thank-you for crafting and sharing this video. What a wonderful way for descendants of K families to learn something of the town their ancestors came from. I'm a South African living in Texas who traces his patronymic line to late 17th century Kirkcudbright. Much appreciated.

    I found this fascinating as some of my family come from Kirkcudbright. My great-grandmother was born married and died/buried at The Pitt, Kirkgungeon. I can get very little information on The Pitt and wondered if the history of Kirkguneon has been explored by anyone else like yourselves?

    Why are 3 out of 4 of the presenters English????
    Couldn’t you find some Scot’s to at least pronounce the names properly.

      You are so wrong pal😂 English people live all over Scotland just as England had hundreds of thousands of Scots. We are all part of the UK, get over yourself. I will not accuse you of the “R” word but watch what you say on a public forum 😮
