It's 2024 and it's time to start prioritizing our health and wellness, starting with our everyday products and beauty routines! I love makeup, but many popular mainstream brands formulate their products with cheap, hazardous ingredients that can disrupt your endocrine system and throw you into a storm of hormonal imbalances. The goal is to help each other detach from the consumer's mindset and become more conscious about the types of products we put on our skin and on our bodies. Allow me to help you where I may and let's become healthier together!

I went hardcore on the non toxic lifestyle real fast and got burnout, but I'm slowly easing back in! Recommendations:
Everyone soap for face and body. It's really cheap if you can find it at TJ maxx/Marshalls
Ditching your fabric softener and using white vinegar.
A few detergents have high levels of 1-4 dioxane so avoid those, I use a powder mix of baking soda, washing soda, borax.
And CANDLES/ROOM SPRAYS are so toxic.

The soap for my face is so convenient and helpful to get in the non toxic lifestyle . I get African soap only 3 ingredients. So it works to clean my face !

Detoxing from heavy metals involves chelation and is done different depending on what heavy metal you’re toxic in. It can be very dangerous if not done properly. Highly recommend doing a doctors data hair test and testing for heavy metals before just going in Willy Nilly. You’ll need a functional doctor to be able to order one and read it. I did one and it’s definitely worth it- but just proceed with caution..
All of the make up brands you have listed have Titanium dioxide, Mica, Talc and other unhealthy ingredients. Some people say they are minimum amount, they are still not good healthwise.
@@ingajohnson7882 I agree! A minimal amount adds up and causes toxicity. They are not all bad, though. I found out that Merit isn’t all that great after all. Please share what you find! 🙏💕
Hi love how sweet you are & how you care what's going into your body. I switched to all natural makeup last year. Some of my favorite brands are MG Naturals (all dimethicone free), Bee You Organics, Piper Blue, & Haut Cacao Cosmetics. Definitely worth diving into & brands that I've been loving since making the switch.
I used to use Merit, Mango People, The Organic Skin Company, & Ilia a lot but after more research, I came to realize it's kind of difficult to find products from brands that are super main stream that don't include talc, dimethicones, & synthetics.
Anywho, thanks for this sweet video. Great info to share! Hopefully you can check out some of my new favorite brands. I know MG Naturals has a whole set of makeup you can get everything you need for full face for like $130 which makes it quite affordable to make the switch in comparison to some main stream brands too :)

Do you have recommendations for non toxic haircare? The toxic hair products ingredients can put any cosmetics to shame and there are so few choices out there that are clean...ex try finding a clean leave in conditioner or frizz serum
