excellent update!
03:24 the position of the USB-C port is not ideal for a wired apple carplay if you position the iphone where it's meant to be put, which is on the dedicated wireless spot.
Especially that you can only put in the one with a white circle.
I ended up putting it in the little pocket in the center console on the passenger side. it's much cleaner that way and it's still very easily reachable.
And you don't have this cable all over your volume knob and gear selector.
Another solution would be to put the iphone horizontally but then it's not very stable.
Hopefully they'll come up with a wireless version of Apple Carplay, which would allow you to use any USB-C port, if you want to charge your iphone.
in which case i would rather use one of the rear seats ones and hide the iphone on the center console hidden pocket.
That way no cable would be in my vision.
The dedicated RUclips app seems to be ad-free ! A free premium account :)

Unfortunately, the RUclips application is a bit underdeveloped and poorly converted because it looks like the browser version has very small buttons, it should look like the one on the phone, and if you use the full screen option, you can't exit it later. What I'm most waiting for is an update so that information from Google Maps regarding the route, i.e. how many km are left, how long, etc., will be displayed on the driver's screen so that I can have something else turned on on the middle screen, and something that really annoys me is that when someone calls me, it obscures the map on my screen. Drivers should move it somewhere to the side and the call itself should be answered and rejected using buttons on the steering wheel. They could also improve receiving calls from messenger, now you have to answer them from your phone, and e.g. whatsapp works as usual, the call works as usual and you can answer it from the car screen.
Isnt this update withdrawn ?`due to all the issues with charging

It does not. You would need to use Android Automotives native app

I did the software update to P2.9 but I don’t see RUclips in the playstore
It should have been auto downloaded onto your android auto Home Screen. That’s how it showed up for us

I just got a polestar 2 and it has the 2.4 software 😅
When i try to update it, it says it has the recent software. How can i get the 2.9 ?
If you miss too many updates in a row, you have to visit service to receive a manual update.
