They don't make music like they did then. I was born in 1981 great music. Thank you for this decade.

I've seen a lot of Alabama''s concerts from the mid 1980's clear to this year. Also saw Don Williams, Kenny Rogers (2x), Roy Clark (2x)

I sure do wish I would have appreciated the 1980s when I was there. I was young and stupid.

How can you talk about Country Music & not mention Loretta Lynns "Coal Miners Daughter" movie?????
Or Dolly Parton in "9 to 5." These movies were big hits. I think you talked more about what was going on in the world than you did the songs. So many great songs not mentioned like "Harper Valley P.T.A." The huge duets by Conway/Loretta, Dolly/Porter, George/Tammy, Johnny/June. I guess the music in these segments isn't that important since we didn't spend much time there. I watched 20 yrs 1960s to 1980. I should of went to sleep like l'm gonna do now.

Hi Edna. I do appreciate you tuning in for so long but sorry 1980 was not your favorite. I usually try to focus on the top songs of the year. The 9-5 single came out in November and the movie in December. But I have many episodes with songs from Dolly and Loretta. You should check out the Greatest Ladies of Country Music History. Dolly and Loretta are there. ruclips.net/video/mfa0WcF8EqQ/видео.html
