Typing this as I drink out of my hydroflask while eating dinner.... Such a wholesome story! I've owned countless bottles over the years and it truly is a quality product. It's interesting to hear about the creative process that eventually landed this bottle in front of me. I will continue to support!
Thank you for watching, Craig! We hope to feature more awesome product developers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. If you have someone you'd like to recommend, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Amazing interview, Stephen! Thank you for sharing your inspirational story of ups and downs, Travis, I'm so happy you were tenacious and worked through it all. The pages in my books from Stephen are also highlighted and underlined which shows how much we value his information. Best of luck to you!
I think of other vacuum wall bottle brands; YETI, Bubba, Klean Kanteen...etc....are all operating on simple design patent differences? Or have they 'designed around the patent'? Have they paid for use of the technology alongside HydroFlask, or specific regions of distribution? Simply curious to know - if anyone knows or has a guess. Up here in Canada, I've never seen the HydroFlask brand, but all others are completely dug in as popular brands with same tech and sit right beside one another on shelves. *Sips coffee from a $40 YETI...the lid leaks all over his lap.....* Thx
Thanks for the videos! They have been a huge help. I’m working on a product right now. I’m about to contact my biggest potential competitor to see if we can do a joint venture. My competitor would be a great attachment for my product. I would rather they make the attachment and I can focus on manufacturing my product instead of making both my product and the attachment.
Interesting. Have you considered a licensing agreement instead? You know we had to ask! Thanks for sharing, and watching! We are here to help: www.inventright.com/contact
inventRightTV yes! You’re videos made me really think about licensing. I think since this is my first invention and my first opportunity to start a business, I want to learn as much as I can about manufacturing and running a business over the next couple years. If I do a joint venture with this company, I’m sure I could learn a lot from them. Then when I have some decent sales, I can license my invention for more money or even be acquired! 😁
What an incredible story, I believe its truly part of everyones dreams to create a succesful buisness, and from a humble beginning its just fantastic and makes me happy for you, and usually im sitting here jealous and envious of creators to be honest, not because of their success but because of my own lack of courage to take one if my ideas to the next level, congratulations and yes I own several and they are excellent, much thanks to you for sharing.!!
Send any company an email and find out. It's ok if some say no. That's part being an inventor and closing a licensing deal. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder
That's a bummer! Did you try returning it? It says this on the company's website: "Hydro Flask will replace any product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use. Replacement parts will be utilized to address defects when available."
I wish I could have invented something like a simple bottle... verses VisArma.com... that required many technologies, patents, trademarks within 38 countries, Worldwide.... I even copyrighted a song I wrote and produced because I didn’t want to pay for licensing. So, congratulations on your success... i do know the Journey is challenging... motorcycles understandably is your escape, while mine is Multiengine Fixed-Wing and Rotorcraft.... The need to distract yourself or shut your brain off once in a while... I have around 8 of your HydroFlasks, in varying sizes...
What if I have a utility patent on a garment, say I invented the zipper, which everyone on the planet can use, and I get an order for 10,000 units? How to I go from making 1 per hour myself out of my home, to fulfilling an order for 10,000 units?

Had the hydroflask in my hand as I saw this video. Love it, but sadly made in CHINA! Come on, why not US Steel? Then you can proudly say ‘Made in USA’!

This is an excellent question!
Good Q. They are designing around the patent. And...some are straight knocking them off and selling at membership box stores! Crazy!
Crazy amazing!! Thank you both 💡🌠
Glad you enjoyed it!

My hydroflask leaks all the time 😬
Is mine a fluke?
That's a bummer! Did you try returning it? It says this on the company's website: "Hydro Flask will replace any product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use. Replacement parts will be utilized to address defects when available."
inventRightTV I got it as a work gift so I didn’t purchase it 😏
@@KarawithaK I'd make sure it is the real thing and then contact to return it for replacement

Why is Hydroflask expensive in the Philippines
why he did try to sell this on local market booth? why not ecommerce?

Are hydroflask and aquaflask the same company?
I forgot to ask, Did you hire the potential employee?
That's a good question!
I did indeed! He's still with them to this day :)
This dude didnt invent it this technology is really old this man just advertised really well
Had the hydroflask in my hand as I saw this video. Love it, but sadly made in CHINA! Come on, why not US Steel? Then you can proudly say ‘Made in USA’!
This is already a pretty expensive water bottle. No doubt cost is factor in the decision to manufacture overseas! Thank you for watching.
