Hope you are all very well. It is so hot here at the moment. Today I would like to share with you a new episode in my "Inspired by..." series.
Today I am showcasing an idea I was inspired by, in a little treasure of a journal from the lovely Carol Parker! Carol is a very talented and creative artist and as you all know, someone who I really admire. I know you will thoroughly enjoy her channel too. This is fabulous to add special attention to the center of a journal! Love that it will not add a lot of bulk yet is so filled with goodness. Great expansion on the original idea. Thanks for sharing.

Angela this little gem looks like a Bon Bon shop of sweeties wrapped up beautifully. Honestly the way you marry up your papers is gorgeous and I love it all. I so wish I had your eyes to see how to use these beautiful papers. Could we have a wee tutorial on how you choose papers and how you arrive at your combinations. Oh my Angela...how very beautiful! I just went and subscribed to Carol's channel. And I totally get....missing a bone folder when it's nowhere to be found! You can use the sides of your scissors...on the grips. Works like a charm! May have to check out those beautiful digis! I've been making this along with you Angela, so far it's going well, but I have to do the tags yet. I've never been a pastel person and have always loved deep autumn colours but you have certainly won me over with your lovely work. I'm in Australia and it's so cold here, 12.30pm and it's 13deg C so if you can send down a bit of your heat...lol

That was quick, but looks great as a center decoration for a card or journal! Great idea! Hot here today in the Midwest also but rain moves in tonight for the next 5 days. Should cool off some! Still working on my July 4th journal and bag for a gift so until then I have to stay away from Chapter One papers!😂

Oh my, it’s winter here in Melbourne but 30c here would just be a warm day - it’s when it gets close to or more than 40c that we suffer. Fortunately in Australia I think most people have some sort of air conditioning!
I prefer Winter Sue. Big grated for the heat anymore. I have lived in close to 40 degrees too, years ago. I didn’t like it at all. But I had a swimming pool, which was lovely and as you say air conditioning! I have a portable air con unit which is fab, but only downstairs. Thank you so much for your lovely message Sue!
