Do you want to learn about other Viva products? Which ones?
I need more content from this. Your class is really awesome !
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for this insightful video.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, thanks a bunch for the tips. Though, I did everything, my companys sharepoint does appear as a provider but it doesnt show any of the content, it gives us this message instead, We couldn't find any results for ''
Check for spelling or try searching for another term
Check this documentation: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/learning/configure-sharepoint-content-source?WT.mc_id=M365-MVP-5005336
Configuration of this integration changing in time and maybe your environment require additional steps.
Hi, I loved the content. It was really helpful. I wanted to check if non-microsoft account users can have access to the viva learning or not?
No, it is not possible. You need to have a license in Microsoft 365 with proper subscriptions assigned.
Thanks for the video...How do you make Q&A segments for internal training content. Sharepoint doesn't seem to accommodate for that.
Try this: www.avepoint.com/blog/sharepoint-hybrid/sharepoint-site-ux
@@szymonbochniak thanks so much for replying... I will check it out
Amazing video buddy, keep going !
Thanks a lot!
@@szymonbochniak greetings from Brazil !
Hello there, I have more than 500 users who must have access to the Microsoft 365 group. Is there a way to add an existing distribution group to the M365 Group or do i need to add them one at a time?
I believe security groups cannot contains distribution groups :( But for sure you will find powershell to automate this operation.
@szymonbochniak - Great video, if you create at column for ThumbURL in Sharepoint, will it automatically show up as a thumbnail in Viva Learning? (The thumbnail-feature on content is missing in viva learning itself)
It will be used, but you will need to give the Viva app up to 48hs to load the Thumbnails.
@@szymonbochniak HI I have similar problem. I have added Thumbnail in the column but in log i get "Thumbnail should be present according to the type mentioned in the documentation" and my materials doesn't show up in Viva Learning. Any idea?
Try this:
Create an image that meets the following requirements: it must be a .png or .jpg file, it must be at least 400x400 pixels, and it must be under 2 MB in size. Once you have an image that meets those requirements, you can upload it to Viva Learning by following these steps:
Go to the Viva Learning tab in Microsoft Teams.
Click on the "Add content" button.
Select "Add a course".
Fill in the required information for your course.
Click on the "Add thumbnail" button and select the image you want to use.
Save your course.

@@szymonbochniak Thanks for reply. Unfortunately there is no such button like "Add content" in Viva learning. When you fill the "ThumbnailWebUrl" column you just paste link to the particular one file on sharepoint?
In the demo I was using format like this, URL is used as a column on the video file: m365aw.sharepoint.com/:i:/s/LearningCenter/EehtngBUSP1CmuMyj1myxkIBiB_oKvlpZJOfhqc5cCDrxg?e=CVvLAo
- Learning Center the site where whole data is stored.
EDIT:
One update in the documentation: Only public URLs work for this process. I believe link need to be to public website.

Hi Szymon. I'm getting an error on the sharepoint URL items. Receiving this error when trying to access via the web. You can't access this content through Viva Learning. Please contact your administrator.
Give it up 48 hours to start to work. I faced same problem just after the configuration.
@@szymonbochniak I filed a support case with Microsoft and they are saying you would need the premium viva learning license to add 3rd party web content. Have you seen that to be true?
Have tried all the steps provided. Am just not seeing the content from my Sharepoint in Viva Learning.
I will review current process. It looks there were some changes in the meantime and presented solution stopped to work.
@@szymonbochniak Thank you for your quick response. Looks like the solution does not work for standard edition of Microsoft 365.
I have the same issue. Check logs maybe they'd help you. What I've noticed while going through logs is that the content is successfully synced during one SyncCycleId then on next SyncCycleId there's no content successfully synced nor failed synced.
@@szymonbochniak hello, in my developer tenant, I can see the files uploaded into viva learning. but if i login as a user i do not see the content(even after giving read access to "everyone"). Any idea what i need to check and do? also is there any log that will list all my actions?
