I recently bought an 05 model with these mirror indicators. If you have a darker coloured car changing the indicators to the smoked lenses with the dynamic blinker makes a big difference. Only cost me £12
Hi, nice retrofit I’m going to do the same job in my 2002 3bg.. but I need the wiring diagram or where did you connected the blinkers wire exactly please? 🙏🙏
The Most difficult thing is to locate where the Blinker is connected. See this 2:23 Panel? At First you have to find the Plug (it was the pink Plug in my Passat.) activate the Blinker and disconnect one after another until the Blinker is offline. You hear it cause the frequence ist highe. Now find the right cable in that Plug and Insert another cable between this Connection and this one at 1:15. If the mirror Blinker works its Just about hiding the cables. Maybe you need to unpin the cable in the pink Plug to make Sure the cable has a good Connection.
Nice video bro. Did u use the same side mirror attachment (Mirror cap - 3B0857537B/3B1857538B) by removing black trim or need to buy complete set including Mirror cap with turn lights on it ? Could share part number you bought ?
I will try to make my indicators on mirrors tommorow, but I think its black with white stripe on left and black with green on right, I will take it from the plugs on each corner

Nothing removing, you need a completely different mirror with turn indicator.

Hy, i try nowadays install too my Passat turn signal mirror. Where u find wire to turn signal? Fuse box or another?

1:22 To this connector. He is behind turn signal stalk. I dont remember wich pin is for left and right side.

Ok im done with the job, so down from plugs there are pink plugs, you need 70cm wire for one side and you solder them, now they work properly
