      He speaks beautifully unfortunately that won't stop the nasty vindictive discriminatory policy attacks on the the disabled mentally ill and long term sick. They've changed their definition of terminally ill overnight, the rule change means those disabled by mental illness lose £100 per week a huge loss when you are on benefits, sounding polite doesn't stop the all too common ritual humiliation of disabled people with privatised PIP and work capability assessment. Cliff, Extremist views? Are you some kind of extremist yourself? It takes one to know one. You call a man noted for his decency, his intelligence, his humility ,and his concern for democracy an extremist? Where are we going with you? Are you referring to his view on abortion? He has his moral standpoint but he does not force that view on others. You have yours, no doubt, but does that make you an extremist? Is an extremist someone who does not agree with you or does not conform to a majority view on difficult moral questions? No chance for Socrates or Jesus, or Martin Luther King in your book then; would you would have been there at the killing lending a hand? Hubris at the cliff top , eh.

    • @alankenworthy9722
      @alankenworthy9722 6 лет назад +3

      Cliff I agree with you on his views, I think he is wrong about abortion and same sex partnerships, but to call him an extremist is absurd. You should give him some credit for standing up for what he believes in an age when politicians almost all seek votes and drop any pretence at principles in order to get elected. As for foxhunting, I take it you prefer the fox be poisoned and enjoy a lingering agonised death , or trapped or shot and only wounded. Ask the fox which he prefers , all that or foxhunting. Get real. There are no foxes around our house now, thanks to their extermination, mainly by poisoners. They used to thrive in the good old days of foxhunting, and we lost a lot of poultry over the years. .

      If a child is conceived through rape is it the child's fault?! Does the child need to be punished (with death) for its father's actions? NO! It is fair enough that the mother doesn't want to keep the child and so adoption is a solid option. You may think that carrying your rapist's baby to term is bad but it is nothing compared to killing an innocent child. One is clearly the greater evil as I (and Mogg)see it.
      As for fox hunting...it is so far down the list of issues that a politician in the UK currently needs to worry about that it hardly registers with me and certainly should not make or break an otherwise good politician's chances (in my opinion). Sorry foxy but odds are you were going to die horribly of something at some point. Such is nature. Wild animals rarely have the luxury of dying of old age.
