Ricardo Fabar i am a driller from kent, UK... I drill using one of these rigs, i am experienced and the deepest i have drilled is 96 metres open hole 150mm diameter in chalk. i couldnt go any deeper because i physically couldnt fit any more rope on the drum, the stretch on a 13mm rope at this depth is a bit too much too...
Gary, I got the winch ready with a 5cv electric motor, dry clutch.... but I'm planning to switch to a diesel engine. Not sure if I could try a small petrol 10hp engine, because all I have seen are bigger stationary diesel engine with large flywheel on it, so probably I will need that for momentum. How much power did you have on your engine 12hp or 25hp?
I love how we all have the spt rods out like we use them.... they're always clean lol
chiccy2112 yellow hat should have been rubbing the spt with a bit of fresh clay... bet that trip hammer is siezed up lol
Old cable drilling system. my question are as follows: is casing drilling with cable?, you don't has stick?, how many meters are drilling?
this will be my favourite song :D
Good work, lads.
bet you wish you could say to the hacks that work in your factory good work
@manstock2 I have 2 videos of rig setups. I do the same type of drilling as this. Good work lads.
how much would you charge to build one? i need one to take to Africa.
como adquirir uma maquina dessas
how deep it really can go? Whats the limitation for it? I mean can it reach 130m?
+Ricardo Fabar no u cant, this rig is for shallow borehole, usually used for soil investigation.
