@@Jvega001definitely better than anybody, still sad coyote stopped but nice he's still in the vids. Seems like those two are great fans
Why did they switch? WHAT HAPPENED
The capacity to hold your tormentor in one hand as it stings you without harming it or letting go is impressive.
Coyote has developed almost every anti venom in his body to retire cause the stings dont hurt anymore
Seems like this guy is going down the same route. He needs to start training his predecessor now
But this is Coyote 😂
it’s not
Yeah. Only, with a lot of the toxins, especially in the rarer, more exotic stinging things, nerve damage accumulates. We had a guy in our city who boasted about how he'd become immune to taipan venom and would go on TV and let himself be bitten. He started developing the weirdest symptoms and eventually died from the damage to his nervous system and brain. There are similar stories about people stung by some of our nastiest wasps and stinging trees. This stuff, this nerve toxin, is meant to tell you to stay away. One or two accidental bites or stings may be OK, but it's pushing it to be stung for clout. By all means, if that's your thing, go for it. Just know that the pain isn't the only bad thing about some of these poisons.
He finna die like Steve irwin
Mark and Coyote might be two of the bravest men on the planet, the balls of tungsten on these guys are ridiculous.
Finally someone who supports both INSTEAD of just coyote
Jack from Jack's world of wildlife I'd say is definitely alot more ballsy lol!
This doesn't take balls or bravery. This takes stupidity and a desperation for internet clout. I see these videos, and the only thing I think about is the family guy episode where Tom Green is sucking a cow utter in a pink tutu and asking if anyone likes him yet.
@@Eddie2Dynamite Hahahaha
No, This is stupidity, not bravery, and it may be acting.
something that deserves to be rare and i think we want this to stay rare, thank you very much
you can see how intelligent that thing is. it was countering every attempt to grab it
bringing it inside was definitely a "you're locked in here with me" moment for the wasp
I thought it seemed smart when it was rummaging in the grooves where the glass met the wood.
Reading that, just makes me think it's fighting the tongs with its stinger.
I like how it chilled after like it was admiring its work.
And started washing itself like "Oh, yuck." 😂
Maybe it's out of venom so its like, well, I did what I could.
Probably gets a dopamine release or something
😅
My most sincere thanks and admiration for the first ever documented sting on this extremely rare species. You made my day and history on taxonomy!🤩🤩
I love the quality you guys put into your videos but as a deaf person I really think it’s important to state that we as a community appreciate really hard when you put just as much effort into writing your own cc instead of letting RUclips write it automatically for you. ❤
fr
thats sick
I appreciate it as well, but for different reasons. I’m usually in public when I watch RUclips videos and sometimes I forget headphones so the captions are super helpful
I missed the community cc feature that youtube had before. Unlike the useless UI updates that they've pushed nowadays, that one was actually very useful.
His facial expressions, along with his verbal description of the pain being inflicted, sound like a messy divorce.
For the grand finale, you HAVE to do the Wallace's Giant Bee! It's the world's largest bee species, and it's only found in certain part of Indonesia. It was thought to be extinct until the species was rediscovered in 1981. From what I know, a sting from a Wallace's Giant Bee has NEVER been documented in human history, so NOW is your chance!
Good call
Those Wallace giant bees are scary looking!
Just looked it up and my god, that thing looks like a beetle, I don't think I would have guessed that it was a bee.
I'm on board with this idea.
He needs to do Vespa tropics as well. I heard it’s sting is worse than the bullet ant
The camera man running backward when it tried to escape, bro is a real one
Most amazing thing I find about these videos is how they don't accidentally squeeze the twizzers and kill the insect, and how they put it back in the glass enclosure, with 1 hand.
Same, I was astonished he didn't just crush it!
I'm very heavy handed the twizzlers would have squeezed of its abdomen lmao. 😅❤
Thank god you locked the door, so the wasp wouldn't have just opened it and left 😂
Came here to say something similar. 😂
When I was a kid there was a cricket in our basement (I think it was a cricket) and my mother went down there and sprayed it with Raid. The cricket went nuts, bouncing off the walls and ceiling and my mother ran up the basement stairs screaming, slammed the door shut and did the doorknob lock and the chain. 😂 We laughed about that for years. Decades actually, that was in the 70s
Came to say the same 😂😂

These guys don’t get enough credit. Not even about the sting/bite part. But actively searching and finding these creatures in dangerous locations surrounded by dangerous creatures
I think 21 million subs is enough credit
1 million views with around 60% of viewers not using an adblocker nets them at least 100k per video, up to 250k in some cases. Sponsors will pay huge money to advertise to such a specific and wide audience.
Credit for what? They don't have to do this...they're choosing to do this just to make money. You're acting like they're doing some great noble work for some good cause. They aren't. People who you never will hear about in the whole of existence who work their lives away for the sake of helping others for a total pittance are the people who "don't get enough credit". Not posers on social media stinging themselves with insects for viral views and advertising revenue. Get a clue.

Megascolia maculata are actually quite common here, in Portugal. They tend to be docile in nature, unlike the Asian Wasp, for example. I’ve seen and interacted with quite a few and never felt like it had any intention of stinging.
Their size is impressive though!
Its cause these arent mammoth wasps I dont know why they had to spread misinformation on the name when the real mammoth wasp is Europe's largest wasp
@@creeperdewdsucks4695 The species shown in the video seems to be Megascolia Azurea, one without a common name. My guess is that the reason they call it the Mammoth Wasp (Megascolia Masculata) is due to the two species being closely related (same genus) and naming a video something like "STUNG by a MEGASCOLIA AZUREA" is gonna get a lot less attention than the current title, which is honestly fair enough (Though they could have at least shown the proper scientific name in the video.)
Yes. These wasps are not endemic to Borneo and are quite common throughout the old world. BW are basically youtube's snake oil sellers...
I study Megascolia and can say for certain that that was not Megascolia maculata and I´d bet on it being Megascolia azurea. I agree with you because, having interacted with them many times, and up close, I have never been stung or shown agression by them ( also in Portugal btw ).

Don’t know about Borneo, but in Portugal the common mammoth wasp is… common. It feeds on grubs of rhinoceros beetle, and is easy to find in early summer, as the males swarm around waiting for the female to emerge from the nest. Despite the appearance they are quite gentle. It’s a shame that people freak out when they see them and the local council ends up calling the exterminator.
