A much simpler & less dangerous method exists, by using Baking Soda and Super Glue drops & sprinkle more Baking Soda on top... you can repeat until you're happy with the results... using this simple method to repair Plastics or steel or wood is perfect ❤ It sets hard as concrete, can be filed to a smooth finish. If you want a dark finish, mix some ash or pencil lead in with the baking soda & apply as usual. Finally, painting the finish to match the rest of the item also gives a cool, professional finished look.

Will not last. Polymers too short and imploding, as it tries to reconnect with each other, meaning it will lose it's grip on both surfaces in a few days. Gluesticks have that problem built-in, and the baking soda worsens the problem, as the polymers are shortened and seperated by the baking soda even more. Superglue however, forms a lattice bond around the baking soda, and the grains float, rather than touch, making complete hexagonal lattice bonds, thus creating super strong bonds by expelling all oxygen and moisture as it heats up on molecular level when mixed, then, when the polymers implode, it makes a vacuum sealed super durable, rigid bond. It might feel rock-hard, but a Full cure of minimum 2 hours is recommended before filing or machining, to prevent 'sagging', as it still needs time to fully complete the bonds.

Doesn't seem comfortable for shoes, no flexibility, glue will brake while walking, glue whit alcohol works to, and you can apply thinner layers..
