Was obsessed with watching this as a kid; probably watched 100+ times! Got the chance to ride Albula line down to St. Moritz in 2014 and it was great; both Thusis and Chur suburbs WAY different than what was shown here in 1989! Engadine tip for Skiers: take the Bernina line upto Diavolezza for a day; its less crowded than Corviglia and while only a couple runs, they are super fun with awesome views of the valley below & Piz Bernina, and good Pizza at the restaurant at the bottom of the cable car!
Watched a number of these programmes on satellite tv a good few years ago, whilst staying in a holiday cottage. Never thought I'd get the chance to watch the whole set. Thank you for uploading them.
@DrMoriarty-sees-all 4k? Look at the views, the sceneries shown! Don't count dots. Note the video was launched 5 years ago, converted from an original made when, using what equipment?
professional film footage and sound. I wish the narrator had asked a local about pronounciation of place names before recording. It is, for instance, not ALBOOLA, but ALLBULA.

Thank you crew. I’ve got my VHS tapes converted to DVD, but this conversion has better quality. Greatly recommended :-)
Brilliant footage all the way through...
The thing I love about Switzerland is that it feels like a traditional organised society and provokes intense longing for a better way of life.
Great video made by a professional.

Unfortunately not. But you can always watch the episodes again :)
